The Tsunami IS America’s fault

Posted by Raven on December 27th, 2004

As I surf through web sites, seeking information about the tsunami and mounting death tolls, I came across some pretty nasty verbage being slapped at the USA. Our relief efforts aren’t enough; we should end the war on terrorism and use the money to help the victims; are the tsunamis a result of GLOBAL WARMING? American cable networks are ignoring this tragedy, you know…

Can’t these people who are doing all this whining, find something more useful to do with their time? Why not donate some money to one of the many relief agencies? What about calling some friends and getting together-to plan a neighborhood yard sale to raise money?

I’ve seen that all over the place. People complaining that the Americans “don’t care”. What a load of hogwash. Like we’re responsible for the entire world’s problems?

  2. Raven Says:

The US is immediately giving 15 million in aid packages; compare this to the EU’s tweensy 4 million; plus we are sending more after initial assessment teams go over to see…

Plus, the indivdual American is known to be extremely generous when it comes to those in need. There are many relief agencies up and running now, accepting money donations. Why don’t the pansy liberals put their wallet where their mouth is. I did. I’m sure millions more Americans will also donate. Every dime helps, since I’m sure not too many liberals who are at these daliy kos type sites have jobs…(WELFARE anyone??) THAT was a joke…..

I for one am sick and tired of the world badmouthing the U.S. Yet when disaster comes, who is the first to help out without being asked?
Don’t get me wrong, we are doing the right thing in helping out.
But hey aren’t we the big bad Satan?

  5. Raven Says:

:evil:I am sick of it too. I just read some story about the UN calling our initial 15 million in aid-stingy…really now. Lets not help anyone then. Sheesh. Beggars need not be choosers nor should they slap the hand they get their money from.

 A lib who wins 10mil in a lotto would be pissed it wasn’t 11mil! Never appreciate anything, just whine! I say we send the UN cheese instead of .1%

    Just a thought…
I was just over at Raven’s blog (And Rightly So) and in one of her posts, she talks about how “some” people are typically blaming the US for the earthquake and tsunami. She pointed out this comment at DKos:

#6: LOL…SO TRUE. And if they won the lottery-they would insist upon a redo of some sort!

  9. Alien Says:

    USA – 15 Million
    Australia – 1 Billion
    Who is bigger? USA
    Who’s giving more? Australia
If Australia can give 1 BILLION, why can’t you yanks give that much, if not more?
