Another one of my heroes.
From an email:
“This photo is from the most recent major offensive in Fallujah. Sgt. Kasal sacrificed his own safety to save a room full of fellow Marines. He ended up taking several AK rounds in the leg. Most of his lower leg was blown away but you can’t tell it from this pic. He took rounds in the back which his armor saved him from. He took one round through his butt which passed through both cheeks leaving 4 holes in him. And he also took the brunt of a grenade blast. He jumped on top of a younger Marine to cover him from the fire. He killed the terrorist who did most of the damage to him and his men, and despite a massive loss of blood he never stopped fighting. Notice that he’s still holding his pistol. He has been put in for the Medal of Honor for his actions on that day. He already has several Purple Hearts for previous battles throughout his career and he has turned some down so that he could stay with his unit. While in the hospital he has met President Bush, Donald Rumsfeld and several other celebrities. He said that President Bush came in by himself and had a very long, sincere, and friendly visit with him. “
Speaking of the Marines, read this and be turned on:
“Actually, it’s a lot of fun to fight. You know, it’s a hell of a hoot. … It’s fun to shoot some people. I’ll be right up front with you, I like brawling.”-Lt. Gen. James Mattis, a career infantry officer
I love being a hawk. Hubby is a former Marine who was in the barracks in Beirut back in the early 80’s-the one young angry Muslim men blew up. He lost 16 friends that day. He saw this picture and it took him back.

It is good to have Hero’s, they are mine also.
I love the counseling session!
“Thursday, Gen. Mike Hagee, commandant of the Marine Corps, issued a statement saying, “Lt. Gen. Mattis often speaks with a great deal of candor. I have counseled him concerning his remarks and he agrees he should have chosen his words more carefully.”
He should have chosen better words. But these were damn good ones.

Every freedom loving persons hero.
Kim says that he took 7 rounds.

I’d stand up and salute him, but he’d probably come to attention and salute back…pistol and all. He DESERVES the MOH. I’ll salute quietly from the corner.

Why chose different words just to appease the softy liberals? I would have loved to have been at that counceling session. Heroes. Plain and simple. They got balls that most liberals don’t.

I’m not sure that he is getting the MOH. I read somewhere that another soldier is getting one-post mortem of course.

Oh my. Got an email about this post from a wacko liberal:
“HOW can you call this killer a hero? He deserves to die since he murdered inncocents. I hope everything important was blown off him as well…”
Whew.
I won’t quote what else this idiot said. My reply to he/she was simple:
Fuck off wimp. I would rather spend the rest of my life with a wounded Marine than with the likes of you…Even with everything blown off he would be better than you…
Sheesh.

Most of these libs who talk like that don’t have any family who have served and have absolutely no frame of reference. I’d like to ‘borrow’ this and post it, if that’s ok, Raven. It’s incredible.

Another excellent example of an American Warrior/Hero. I have great respect for them all, and Thanks to them, we are free to discuss and express our opinions at great sites like this. I’d like to stick that whinny assed liberal that called him a killer in the middle of a fire fight in Iraq with a few Marines, then see what he thinks. What a MORON.

Hi Mr. Cao:lol: I may just post that email. Its kind of raunchy, and my reply is even worse. BUT it might give people an insight into the minds of the crazy liberals.
