Yes; 3 More Weeks

Terri’s tube will stay in for at least three more weeks.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) – A judge on Friday extended for three weeks a court order keeping Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube in place, the latest development in a long-running family feud over the fate of the brain-damaged woman.
Pinellas Circuit Court Judge George Greer made his decision after pleadings from the woman’s parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, that they need more time to pursue additional medical tests which might prove their daughter has more mental capabilities than previously thought.
The ruling came two days after the parents sought court protection to keep their son-in-law from ordering doctors to remove the feeding tube. The tube keeps the 41-year-old disabled woman alive.
The husband, Michael Schiavo, says he is seeking to carry out his wife’s wishes not to be kept alive artificially.

It’s far from over.

I was wondering why there is not an organized effort to hold a candle light vigil in front of Miserable Mik’s house.

Now the real fighting begins. We can’t wait til day 20.
While I like the idea of a vigil if front of Mikey’s house, I think the little weasel has gone into hiding.

What a bunch of crap. The s*** should really hit the fan; I’d like to see Judge Greer and Michael Schiavo investigated for what they’ve done so far–they’ve broken so many laws I can’t believe it.

The Shiavo Case Raises Tough Questions
If put in Terri Shiavo’s place, is there a single one of you who would want to continue with the feeding tube? For 15 years she’s been like a 6-month-old baby. . . and will likely remain that way. I say take the feeding tube out.
Now, I believ…

The more I study this, the more I have been compelled to ask you a question, Raven. Does she already look dehydrated to you?

Yes she is. In nursing homes, they give residents the bare essetials when it comes to fluids. especially those with tube feedings. Its awful. Almost all residents are dehydrated.
