Abortion is killing

Read this load of BS:
SPRINGFIELD — Pro-abortion forces won a victory in the Illinois House Wednesday as State Rep. Rosemary Mulligan (R-Park Ridge) successfully passed HB 2492 which would make it a criminal offense for an ultrasound to be administered without a doctor’s order.
Mulligan said that Planned Parenthood and the Illinois State Medical Society encouraged her to sponsor the legislation because there was a concern about long exposure of fetuses to ultrasound waves.
“There’s a new little industry that does ultrasound videos on babies before they’re born for entertainment purposes,” the Cook County legislator told her colleagues. “There is concern about the neurological development with long exposure.”
When asked by State Rep. Randy Hultgren (R-Wheaton) whether or not it would effect crisis pregnancy centers who have recently begun doing ultrasounds on women considering abortion, Mulligan said she wasn’t familiar with the practice in those agencies, and deferred a clear response.
“I am assuming those agencies have doctor’s orders to perform the ultrasounds, so I don’t know whether this would change their policies or not,” she responded.
Mulligan, who is a strong abortion advocate, said that an ultrasound should not be done for political reasons to make anyone change their minds about any particular purpose.
This is total BS. The abortion enthusiasts want to see these very common and safe tests made illegal. Millions of pregnant women have ultrasounds, with no harmful effects to their unborn babies. Why make them illegal? So that women considering having an abortion will not see the baby…who has a heart beat, who has a head and hands and fingers and is alive.
World Magazine’s Lynn Vincent has written a wonderful article describing the power of ultrasound imaging in revealing the truth about the unborn. Three woman, predisposed to abortion, were interviewed who decided to keep their children after viewing them through an ultrasound at a crisis pregnancy center.
“I was shocked. I wasn’t expecting to see the baby,” one mother explained. “I was expecting to see the back of the screen.”
Another said, “The beating heart is the very essence of life itself. The sonogram showed me that if I had had an abortion, I would’ve been murdering my child.”
The third explained, “Women who can convince themselves to [have abortions] . . . manage to get through it because they don’t allow themselves to think that [the fetus] is going to turn into someone who’s going to laugh and talk and have feelings. I look at Ava now and think, look how she grows! Look at what wouldn’t be here! I’m glad I didn’t go through with the abortion. I’m sad that other people still do.”
It’s pretty damn sad that these right-to-choose people have to resort to making common tests illegal, just to be make it easier to kill (and yes, abortion is killing) an unwanted baby. Anyone who has seen how an abortion is done knows…it is a cold and horrific thing. Don’t tell me the life being suctioned out isn’t alive and cannot feel.
A few years ago I was friendly with a girl named Kristine. She was a wild girl who was very irresponsible. I kind of felt sorry for her and was trying to help her out. She was 34 and unmarried. She found herself pregnant…and couldn’t decide if she wanted to be a mom or not. All along her path to making her decisions, she had lots of help from people….Her own Mom encouraged her to “get rid of it”, “IT” being the baby. Kristine went to some counceling people and they told her she had choices. They gave her books about pregnancy and birth, and showed her a video of what little babies and kids are like. I was appalled. These little productions were so biased, showing only the worst parts of everything. Like those babies who have colic and cry and scream a lot. Like little toddlers having temper tantrums…The videos made parenthood look like the worst fate on the earth.
Anyway Kristine decided to have an abortion. She asked me to go with her. Being a stupid idiot who felt sorry for her, I went along. It changed my life for sure. We went up to Concord and they told her it is a 2 day process. Day one: Talk about her choices and get her to sign paperwork. Blood work. Instructions for not eating after midnight and pamphlets explaining to her what to expect. Come back tomorrow at 10am.
So we go back and she sits in a waiting room. No one tries to talk her out of this (except me). No one tells her about other options. No one says a thing. All the womyn who work at these places come around and offer me coffee, and hugs and kisses for her. (Yuck). They joke around with Kristine and tell her to relax, all will be fine. Then it’s time. The only medical person to be seen was the doctor. These womyn were not nurses.
We go into this little room with an exam table and lots of suction equipment on a cart. Kristine is told to lay down and they strap her legs up. I didn’t want to see what they did next, but it is pretty easy to figure out. They opened her cervix with little steel probes, one end is small and the doctor twists it around and the other end is a bit bigger…several probes are used until the cervix is opened enough for the suction tubing. That gets placed inside her and the suction machine is turned on. The abortion itself lasted about 5 minutes. I remember hearing that machine, doing it’s dirty work making all kinds of awful noises. These womyn who work at this place are holding Kristine’s hands, telling her she made the right choice…While I watch (with a medically inclined curiosity) what is going into the suction chamber…Kristine was only 3 months along…and I saw flesh and limb. All bundled up with blood and froth. Of course this chamber is covered from her view…she can’t see it. They even offered to allow her to wear headphones with the music of her choice, just so she wouldn’t have to listen to the machine!
How nice of them to be so considerate.
After it was over they gave her some pills to take, told her to watch for infection and to call them if she had any questions or concerns. They took the chamber and emptied into a bigger collection device, that was full of aborted babies. They take this cannister and dump it into an incinerator every other day or so. I wondered if it was like a gas chamber at one of the concentration camps…

GAWD, if that’s not just pathetic. Can’t let people see for themselves–quick, hide the evidence! That’s just a whole new level of Stalinist “censorship”.
April 19th, 2005 at 8:24 am
Yep…they will be trying to do away with lots of things when it comes to abortion “rights”. Sickening.

RINO’s on the Loose
There is concern about the neurological development with long exposure.” This is laughably transparent. She votes against a partial-birth abortion ban then stands there with a straight face and expect us to believe this.

Oh my God. I just read what you just added here.
I was going to comment that I can’t believe a 34 year-old would decide to do this, but DAMN. You saw limbs. I almost cried reading that, and I cry about once every two years, maybe. Not that I didn’t know this about abortion, of course, but just imagining seeing it…

Beth I wasn’t going to add this, but decided once again it needs to be brought out in graphic detail. It was one of those moments in my life where I was so grossed out it made me sick, VOMIT style. And I have seen just about everything in my work and through all the tough days of my prior life…

The horror of abortion
I was going to write about this…

I’m GLAD you added it. You’re right, the truth NEEDS to be told. It’s sick, but that’s the reality of abortion and people need to know it.

My wife had a major, long unltrasound session every other week while preganant with my son, and he is FINE……”Boy, quit levitating the cat!!!”
Anyway….neurological reasosn my butt…seriously, e is brighter than most kids his age.
This is a huge smelly pantload.
April 19th, 2005 at 10:58 am
This is so sad. tears in my eyes. Abortion is my hot button so don’t want to get started.
April 19th, 2005 at 10:59 am
I’ll just say that the title you gave is the perfect simple truth. Abortion is killing. Period.
April 19th, 2005 at 12:04 pm
Raven that description wiped me out. “After it was over they gave her some pills to take…” Shit. Can’t even look at the next few sentences you wrote again without either going ballistic or tearing up. Or both.
Choice. Right. Choice for murder. I’ve recently commented at The Wide Awakes on THIS biological scientist’s take on the no-brainer of life starting at conception. Here’s a good educational and unbiased link to The Visible Embryo, which details the stages of early human life. You can see step by step why the ultrasound is so feared and despised by these pro-murder folks.

Hey assholes — There is concern about the neurological development with abortions! What a complete, total load of utter bull! I can’t believe that people actually fall for this incredibly transparent murderous agenda! Someone who wants to murder innocent children is concerned with their “neurological development?” How can they even say that with a straight face?
I think I’ve changed my mind on Eugenics — let’s start with these total asses from planned parenthood.

Raven,
Thank you for bearing witness to the horror you have endured. (This and others) May your speaking out help prevent at least some of the many such horrors in this, our culture of death.

Rosemary’s Baby- An Evil Piece of Legislation
I was sooo happy to find your site, and I loved this post. Basically, I used your post on my site, adding my 2 cents. I’m an R.N. and I’m pleased to be finding conservative bloggers in nursing (well you, and Just A Girl, anyway).

If there’s a problem with ultrasounds, then why did I have 14-15 of them while I awaited the birth of my premature son in the hospital? Just another fucking move for the baby killers. Why people buy into this bullshit will forever escape me. Assholes.

When T became pregnant we did n’t know what we were gonna do….I was on dialysis…and not knowing if what caused my problems would be gentic and knowing for certain that I could NOT let a child go through what I did….she had a lower paying job…we lived in a small apartment and knew we didn’t want any kid to grow up as we did…poorer than most and sometimes eating spaghetti for a week.
We went in for that ultrasound. They wouldn’t let me in at first. When they let m in to see the ultrasound I thought I kne what to expect, having had them before myself.
It had never occured to me that I would see, very clearly, a tiny little heart, beating at an astounding rate.
I kept my composure and we headed home, not saying a word.
When we arrived home she sat on the couch, about to burst into tears at the choices ahead of us and a very uncertain future. I knelt on the floor infront of her with the image of that heart racing on that screen and said in a shaky voice, “we’re gonna be parents”.
I knew, once I saw that heart beating, that I would fight anyone to keep that kid alive.
Things were tough, but having a kid jumped started us to a much better life. My wife and I live for our son. And not once since that ultrasound have either of us regretted one moment of it.
It IS hard work. But you will never find anything more fulfilling EVER, than raising a child.
You will never know true joy, honest pride or abject fear if you are not a parent.

Why should a woman be forced to have a child she isn’t ready for? You say that the woman was irrespsonsible? She would not make a decent mother then. Why bring a child into the world under these circumstances? Abortion is an alternative and like it or not, it is legal in the country.
If you sexually deprived right wing fools would encourage more use of birth control, and be more open about sex, maybe this issue wouldn’t upset you all so much.
April 20th, 2005 at 10:06 am
Fuck you Robert. Abortion is a convenience for women who are too lazy to use their birth control; and for men who are too lazy to do the same. It’s murder, abortion. Plain and simple.
April 20th, 2005 at 11:24 am
Robert, you are an idiot. Probably one of those lefties that has no clue what “personal responsibility” is and believe that the only consequences people should take are the good ones. (IT’S NOT MY FAULT). You whiny bastards piss me off.
If a woman wants an abortion she should be forced to give up any right to publicly funded counseling FOREVER.
I am tired of paying ever increasing taxes for stupid people that make shitty decisions and then whine about them.
Fuck you whiners. Man Up, grab your fucking bootstraps and take responsibility for yoru actions.
It is ALL your own damned fault dickhead.

Kender, thank you for defending the rights of the unborn BABIES. They are living, just because they aren’t BORN yet…

Tom, I agree. Let’s make cow feed out of him.

I just recently had a baby girl and she is the most luckest baby in the world. When I was 7 months preganant with her my doctor told me my blood pressure was high at a rotine appointment.Well I never came home, I went to the hostipal
and found out that I had Pre-eclampia.
They told I had to have the baby the next day. I went through a lot in those
couple of weeks and she almost didn’t make it because her cord was wrap around her neck. When she was born she was only 2pounds and 1ounce, because of the Pre-eclampia. Iam so glad I had her because was going to have in aborton and I decided not to because it is wrong
