NH Sex Offender List

This is good. I have never had a problem finding the NH Sex offender list, since I go to it right from the NH Union Leader front page. They have a link there.
CONCORD, N.H. — New Hampshire has made it easier to find its list of sex offenders.
The list, once several clicks from the state’s main Web page, now is prominently displayed. The state made the change last month after a national television program showed viewers how to find sex offender lists in their states.
The state’s director of Web services says New Hampshire’s list wasn’t easy enough to find for some people, so it was moved.
“If the public was looking for it and saying they were having a hard time finding it, that was enough to move it,” said Theresa Pare Curtis.
The list is available at www.nh.gov. Previously, residents had to know to look on the Safety Department’s Web site for a link to the state police.
Initially, the list provided only the offender’s name, age, address, description, conviction and location of conviction. Since 2003, police have been adding photos.
The list can be easily searched by offender name, address or alias. Users can also type in their own address to see if there are registered sex offenders living near them. It is updated weekly.
