I understand your anger that trees would be removed to allow for the viewing of a billboard. One thing that I do not hear many (practically nil) people addressing is the hypocrasy of the "Mandatory Seatbelt Laws" and in some states, "Mandatory Helmet Laws". I have always struggled with the position that many of our legislators take when discussing a "women's right to choose" as relates to the Roe v Wade ruling. It seems that the liberals (progressives) etal, all want to keep the focus on an individuals right to make those decisions that have to do with their very own body, and not have the government impose restrictions on those decisions. The hypocrasy enters when those same enlighteded people believe that is perfectly alright for the government to tell you that you cannot operate your car without a seatbelt or ride your motorcycle without a helmet. After all, isn't it your body and shouldn't you have the right to make decisions that pertain to the welfare of that body yourself without the government forcing thier "rules" upon you. Hope you see my point with this. The message on the billboard itself should also have illicited a negative response from those who saw it.

Raven -- stupid as this is, don't fret that any trees were sut for new billboards -- new billboards on Interstate highways are prohibited --not to say the idiocy is less, just not as compounded.

As for the child who wrote GOD, I'm afraid we're all duped, and by a very good source.. Update at me home.
