Why they lost

I have been reading lefty blogs all week, trying to get a sense of where you liberals are at with your grief. Since one party had to lose, I felt compelled to check on you all; it could have been my party that lost.
My intention was to gather a sense of feeling and empathy. But after reading some of your blogs, I must admit that you don’t get empathy or sympathy from me.

Modern day Democrats/Liberals are not the party that I once belonged too. Your party has become a travesty of whiners; a party of people who believe in pure entitlements. A party who borderlines on being Communists.
Many of you are young people. Many more of you are people my age, who have never grown up. Most of your leaders are from the 60′s era-baby boomers who thrived in the age of flower power. Back then you decided that it is always “American” to protest anything and everything. This era produced some very good people, don’t get me wrong. Your protests ended the Vietnam war- or rather-America’s involvement in this war. For the people of South Vietnam though-war never ended.

Where did it all go wrong? With your constant bitching about the President. From his first days in office, and his first days before he even took office you all scorned him and elevated him to be something horrible. You made Al Gore out to be something he totally isn’t.

The modern day Democrat/Liberal party is not the same party the real JFK was part of. You people constantly complain about social security funds being spent; best remember that it was LBJ who made it legal to dip into the funds. LBJ’s programs have costs the country countless trillions of dollars to what end? Creating a society that doesn’t value working; that doesn’t value good education; that places more importance on the self than others. WHAT?? You are asking?? Thats right. You don’t care about others. You are the ME generation. Its always about you. What you want and need and deserve. Sure, you blanket it with “concern” for others, but this just veils your real concern and end all- “If it were me I would want…”

Your entitlement programs encourage complacency and laziness. Why get a job when one can get welfare? Who needs insurance when the government has money to pay for medical care? Why have a baby when the government will pay for an abortion? Why move out of the city dump, where my rent is paid?

OK back to why you lost this election. Of course you must realize at this point that John Kerry really turned off many people. Mr. Stiff himself couldn’t convince members of his own team that he had what it takes. Even members of the liberal MSM were known to question whether Kerry would pull it off. Kerry is a loser in so many ways. He is too liberal. Thats right. America doesn’t want a liberal leader. We don’t want someone who can’t make up his mind about issues of war and peace. And we certainly don’t want a leader who needs permission from the UN. The “GLOBAL TEST” doctrine isn’t what Americans want.

Kerry also made a huge mistake when he insisted that Hollywood represents the heart and soul of Americans. Many of us puked when we heard this. For young people, sure- Hollywood and Capitol Recordville is the heart and soul. But not for most the rest of the country. Nope. Far from it. Michael Moore made a lot of money on your stupid belief in him. He made SO much money you should all insist he give it all back in the form of donations to your favorite entitlement program. And the likes of Cher and Cameron Diaz- along with Martin Sheen and Susan Saradon-they don’t represent you or your ideals either. They were just trying to get some limelight on themselves. Their careers have been dwindling lately. But they didn’t help your party at all. They just sealed the fate a little tighter for you. A party of selfish, whining, “BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT!” and “NOT IN MY NAME!” bullshit.

About all those protests you attended. You made fools of yourselves because, first, you lied when you claimed 100′s of thousands of people would attend. We watched a few on TV and maybe a couple thousand participated. Then you worn nasty t shirts, burned Bush scare crows and yelled and screamed. Whoop-DEE-DOO. It didn’t impress me or most other Americans.

The lies you spread-perhaps this isn’t your fault. But if I were you, I would have checked out all the “facts” I was given before I spewed off lies. I would check out all those groups before I joined them. MoveOn.Org is financed by many shady organizations that have ties to Communist Americans. So does ACT. You expect Americans to listen to your protest and watch the TV ads- then make sure the groups you fund for this purpose are not going to offend us. Your lack of fact checking shows us how foolish you are.

To equate terrorism with protsitution and gambling-as Kerry suggested- is just plain dumb. I think this comes down to your insistence upon living in the 1990′s. WAKE UP. Its a new century. Usually it’s the young people who have to say this to the older folks. Now it’s the other way around! The complacency of the Commander In Chief during the golden age of the 1990′s is what brought 9-11 to our doorsteps. Its the back room blow jobs that costs so many lives…

Finally, if you are all so upset about Bush getting reeclected-then by all means LEAVE the country. You won’t hurt my feelings and will even hold the door open for you. Go ahead and move to another country where things are so much better. Bet not a one of you will go to a Middle East country; bet none of you really would go live in a former Soviet nation…And just for the record- YES- I would go to Iraq and fight. I’m not a wimp who hijacks the right THING over being a peacenik.

As usual, it’s the elders of the community who must come along and save it from the youth’s imexperience and naviete.

Next time around, if you still choose to be an American, get on board with the majority. Have some tolerance. Respect the religious views of others, because they respect your’s. Don’t demand “programs” before making sure everyone has a chance to help themselves first. Work to bring balance to the real injustices of the nation. And the world. Stop making wars where there isn’t one. Start paying attention to where the real war is.
