Tuesday Evening Beer Blogging
Posted by Raven on February 7th, 2006
Yes…I’m drinking a beer or 5 and checking out some cool blogs and decided to share some of what I’m seeing. This might have to become a regular thing here.
Michael went to a Code Pink anti-Bush rally in Phoenix over this past weekend. Check out the pix and laugh at these idiOts who have stolen the color of WOMEN. Michael got to chat with a Marine (not!) (I would have loved to have been there for THAT):
This guy with the yellow ribbon sign is a fake! He was wearing a Marine Corps Shirt. Claimed to Be a Marine to me (I was warring a Marine Shirt (If it absolutely positively has to be destroyed over Night, US Marines). When this guy was talking to a leftist Navy guy he claimed to have been in the Navy during Viet Nam. So I questioned him and his story changed again. He was not able to get into the service at all but was going to enlist in the Navy as a Corpsman to be near the Marines…..
(keep an eye on this blog too…up and coming IT is.)
Hans has filed a report about Coretta Scott King’s funeral, and what the Democrats had to say, as well as Bill Clinton’s personal remarks-
This marks the 3rd time in a row democrats turned someone’s sad passing into unsavory partisanship; and a stage for some very, very ,very, bad poetry.
TJ @ NIF is showing us what a Quickie looks like. Ok it’s not quite a quickie…he was just pointing out how busy he’s been and that this post was a quick one. LOL.
Long time blog friend Tomslick has an excellent post about the peaceful world of Cindy Sheehan and the Muslim reactions to the CARTOON saga:
How on earth do you gather for a “peaceful demonstration” and then…oh…oops, buildings start burning. Did someone trip over a molotov cocktail? Was there going to be a celebration with fireworks after the “peaceful protest”, but some crazy kids screwed things up? Does this mean that Mohammedans can’t be trusted to peacably assemble, like Protestants in the 1840’s in Philadelphia?
Basil is seeking thoughts about the problems with Blogger. Well, where do I begin?? Actually it’s much better than it was a year ago, BUT….
Some teachers don’t support them either — for example, the one in Delaware, Ohio who did this–
GO read the rest….
The Mary Hunter has some thoughts about racism.
That we live in a freakish, politically correct society swirling with persistent undercurrents of the racism bugaboo is beyond unsettling, it’s down-right repugnant.
New blog friend Ryan has a take on Iran asking for a contest with Holocaust cartoons. Oh and check out his site…it’s really good.

Hey, thanks for the shout, Raven hon! Ver’ kind.
My own Tues Evening Beer Blogging tastes decidedly like Maker’s Mark and it’s only just starting now, to end rather abruptly in a few min when I do some more workie.
*sigh* Too much workie makes TMH an infrequent blogger.

Mmmmm, beer blogging. And “Screwdriver” blogging. And then passing out, so I can get up early for class tomorrow.
Oh, were we talking about your drinking?
/TJ … in Boston, where people legally (!) drive on the shoulders … WTF?
PS – Oh, and thanks for the linkage!

LOL TJ— MA is a dangerous state to drive in. It’s always been allowed-driving in the breakdown lanes. Scary people down there.
Yeah I was drinking….Screwdriver blogging sounds way cool too LOL.
