I Stand With the Marines

Posted by Raven on June 1st, 2006

I wrote a rant about the “Haditha” incident over at Michael’s yesterday. My opinion isn’t popular with many and I don’t care.

Ogre has similar sentiments:

If you don’t want people to die, DON’T SEND IN THE MARINES!

Cao has similar sentiments:

War should be a war of attrition; to see that the enemy dies FIRST.

If I were in charge, I would nuke the entire Middle East out of existence. Period. All of the Middle East. Every corner, nook and cranny. There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind about this.

The place is a cess pool full of Islamafreakoids who could CARE LESS about innocent people. They show through their actions: Suicide bombers walking onto busses full of schoolchildren; bombs being detonated during weddings; streets lined with hidden IED’s. Hostages, beheadings, burning people alive and hanging them over bridges. Driving planes into buildings. Don’t ask me to have any empathy for these people.

I stand with the Marines. I hope they did kill these freaks with cold blood. It’s about time.

Phil Brennan has some facts about Haditha that are worth mentioning here:

Hardly mentioned at all in the hysterical coverage of Haditha is the nature of this city hard by the Syrian border. If you think Fallujah was a hornet’s nest of insurgency, you should take a look at Haditha and what the Marines have been facing there.

Here, for instance, is an Oct. 7, 2005 report from CNN headlined “Marines Find Insurgency’s Deadly Tools in Haditha … Weapons Cache found buried in courtyard of Mosque.” A photo shows the small arsenal in the allegedly holy place.

“U.S. Marines and members of Iraqi Special Forces on Thursday uncovered a sizable weapons cache hidden in a shrine and yard adjacent to a mosque in east-central Haditha, close to the Euphrates River, and continued to uncover deadly buried roadside bombs. The city itself is almost literally an improvised explosive device (IED) field,” CNN reported.

The report continued: “Marines have been finding suspicious wires protruding from the asphalt throughout the city. Buried underneath are usually two to four 155 mm rounds and sometimes propane tanks.”

Sounds like a nice little town to take your kids too huh? The peaceful residents of Haditha, all sweet and cuddly. FUCK THEM.

In an Aug. 4, 2005 story, “Haditha’s Horror” in Slate, Eric Umansky reported: “Everybody leads with 14 Marines and one interpreter killed when a massive bomb hit their lightly armored vehicle in western Iraq. The Marines were from the same unit – and in the same town, Haditha – as six Marine snipers who were killed earlier in the week.

“The bomb was so big it flipped the 25-ton amphibious troop carrier, called an Amtrac, which then caught on fire. As the Los Angeles Times notes, the Amtrac’s exit hatches are on top. Only one Marine inside survived.

Remember that? 14 Marines mostly from Ohio. I remember. They belonged to the same Marine Expeditionary Unit my (very soon) to be X husband belonged to.

Knight Ridder called Haditha, a town of about 100,000 people, “an insurgent bastion,” reporting that “insurgents blend in with the residents, setting up cells in their homes next to those belonging to everyday citizens, some of them supportive.” Knight Ridder said that around the time of the August attack, when a total of 20 U.S. Marines were killed in two days, “several storefronts were lined with posters and pictures supporting al Qaeda. …

“There is no functioning police station and the government offices are largely vacant. The last man to call himself mayor relinquished the title earlier this year after scores of death threats from insurgents.”

A cess pool indeed. War is nasty business. The Marines know it better than anyone. This town is a terrorist haven. Typical of Islamafreakoid mentality, it’s citizens chose to be two faced cowards. It doesn’t pay in the end because the Marines don’t care
who you are, when it comes to war.

And of course the media and certain polcats are having their hey day again over this. They are condemning the Marines involved before the investigation is even completed. They are twisting the words and interviews of those who spoken about this. Frankly, I don’t care. I hope in the end, we find out some useless Islamafreakoids were killed just for revenge. Or out of cold blood. They deserve it. This is cold sounding for sure. But it’s how I feel. For every American who has lost their life at the hand of a Muslim, I say- 10,000 Muslims must lose their lives. I know these Marines- if they are found “guilty” of any war crimes, will be “dealt” with unfairly because of the media frenzy. They don’t have a chance. But they are MY HEROES. Every damn one of them. For doing the things I SO want to do.

The vast majority of these “civilians” are terrorists, or terrorist supporters (same difference).
And what are the troops supposed to do when kids are shooting at them (like the terrorist kids do)?

  4. Raven Says:

I know there are a lot of details about this incident that will never be brought to daylight. And the Marines involved with be hung to dry…and I will hang with them!

I stand with the marines, or behind the marines, and I’m honored.

:D Boy!..am i ever glad i found this website. The ethics of war is to Kill. Our Marines are trained to kill, and they do it well. Everytime you hear some inflated Islamic propaganda aimed at ostracising our Marines for their actions, keep thinking of those TWO (not ONE,,2!..huge concrete edifices,,floor after floor smashing down upon hundreds and hundreds of men, women and CHILDREN!..and all that remained of them were some bode fragments on top of the neighboring buildings adjacent to the world trade towers. Those murdering monstors did’nt discriminate ,,so why should we? GET SOME
