Kofi Lied once again

We all heard Kofi Annan demand an explanation from Israel the other day when a UN outpost was bombed. Annan declared there was no reason to bomb this particular place, that no Hezbollah activity had taken place there. He lied, as usual. The UN post was also being used by Hezbollah.
The words of a Canadian United Nations observer written just days before he was killed in an Israeli bombing of a UN post in Lebanon are evidence Hezbollah was using the post as a “shield” to fire rockets into Israel, says a former UN commander in Bosnia.
Those words, written in an e-mail dated just nine days ago, offer a possible explanation as to why the post — which according to UN officials was clearly marked and known to Israeli forces — was hit by Israel on Tuesday night, said retired Maj.-Gen. Lewis MacKenzie yesterday.
The UN is a complacent player in the war against terrorism. I dare say, without any guilt, that the UN is fast becoming a harborer of terrorists. Knowing fully well it’s post here was being used by the terrorists and not doing anything about this SAYS A LOT.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say Kofi Annan “lied”. He may have been mistaken, but from what I understand, litle has been verified about this. I don’t know if you are old enough to remember the USS Stark incident, but this won’t be the first time Israel has done this sort of thing.

Oh Kofi lied. The UN has a history of these things too.
