Illegal Immigration Meeting In NH

Posted by Raven on July 28th, 2006

The House is holding meetings again, all over the country about illegal immigration and the effects on society. A meeting has been scheduled here in New Hampshire:

Concord, NH, on August 24th — How do illegal immigrants impact the costs of healthcare, local education, and other social services, and would these costs increase under the Reid-Kennedy immigration bill? What is the societal impact of the Reid-Kennedy bill’s grant of amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants?

Other states include AZ, CA, GA, TX, IN, IO, MI, WA….check out the list to see if your state is hosting a meeting. If you can, plan to attend.

No meeting in VA? Did I miss it on the list? We have one helluva problem here in Northern Virginia.

  2. Gayle Says:

Oh Noooooooooooo! I’m going to be driving through El Paso on the 15th, but I can’t stay for the meeting because I will be driving my daughter to college in Phoenix, AZ, and she has to be there on the 17th. Bummer! I’m from Central Texas, near Waco, and i really would have loved to attend. ARRRRRGGGHHH!

Oh well… some things are just not meant to be!

I saw your comment at Old Soldier’s Blog, who is also a partner of mine on my blog, and was curious. I left a comment on your last post (and stole your picture!). :)

  4. Reason Says:

Just FYI, the term “Reid-Kennedy” bill was created by Republicans.

By the way, here’s the racist Republican plan:
2004: Win elections by anti-gay legislation.
2006: Win election by anti-latino legislation
2008: Win elections by (whatever the current prejudice is)

  5. Raven Says:

Oh you are so wrong. Get your facts right. Kennedy is a Republican??? Oh my.

The republicans are split on this issue big time. It’s the one issue I disagree with 100% with President Bush. He’s wrong on this.

We’re not prejudice. We want equality for all- and yes with some rules. No law breakers (illegal immigrants….)
