At this time I certainly don’t know all the facts.
Jim Miller at (Seattle) Sound Politics has a few things to say.
In My Humble Opinion the story goes something like this.
Left leaning Main Stream Media makes egregious and irresponsable whines.
Home Grown Radical Muslim has his “agenda” inflamed.
One dead, Five (not sure) wounded.
Wonder what the laws are in Seattle Washington concerning personal protection?
Wonder what they are for inciting to riot?
In this post, I argued that the Seattle Times should not have published a letter saying that “neocons” should be weeded out, especially under the inflamatory headline they chose: Eradicate those who have put us in the Middle East. The editor, Jim Vesely, seemed not to understand my argument, judging from his reply.
Perhaps Mr. Vesely does not know that “eradicate” and “weed out” are terms commonly used by some of the bloodiest dictators. Perhaps he did not know that some, especially on the left (and among the followers of Pat Buchanan), use “neocon” to mean Jew. And it was absolutely clear that the letter writer thought that supporters of Israel should be weeded out.
Perhaps now, after the shootings at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, Mr. Vesely will understand my point. Perhaps he will even realize that publishing a letter that advocated weeding out a group, and appeared to advocate eradicating them, was wrong. Perhaps.

I started at John Hinderaker’s piece at Powerline.
I may have mentioned I live in a tourist destination area. I may have mentioned an “us v. them” grudge match over traffic space. That ribbing has to go on hold.
I think it’s safe to make a point of keeping close touch with my firearms challanged neighbors and visitors from the south and north n’est-ce pas? And it’s CERTAINLY safe to keep our recent new residents even closer.
Just try to explain things are a bit dicey, and so-called “Give peace a Chance” folk
aren’t particularly helping. Speak softly, carry a big stick.

The neocons have ruined this country, and the world. Strong language, such as “weeded out” comes from the fustration in dealing with the them. It doesn’t mean death. Most of the time it just means voting them out of office.

No the leftists have ruined this country. Neo cons have little power in reality. Leftists on the other hand have their rotten minds in the media, education, science, ect.
