What do Murtha and Kerry have in common??

I suspect there is alot more to this. There are MANY rumors- and I say JUST rumors at this point- that Murtha’s service wasn’t quite what he claims. ala John Kerry.

Vietnam Veterans for Truth, formed to attack John Kerry during the 2004 presidential campaign, has a new target, U.S. Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa.

The group has changed its name to Veterans for Truth and plans a rally in October in Johnstown, Pa., with the theme “Redeploy John Murtha from Congress,” the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat reported.

Murtha joined the Marines during the Korean War and volunteered for duty in Vietnam in 1966. In 1974, he became the first Vietnam veteran to be elected to Congress.

A longtime supporter of a strong military, Murtha has become an outspoken critic of the war in Iraq.

Veterans for Truth accuses Murtha of letting down the military serving in Iraq. The group said it planned to announce details of the rally at a news conference Thursday.

“Nobody has done more for the troops than I have,” Murtha said in a statement. “This is a policy difference and everybody has the right to an opinion.”

I hope, if there are truths to be told, they will come out from any effort of this group. I am very SICK and very TIRED of these polecats LYING about being heroes when we have REAL heroes fighting right now!

So, apparently fighting in Korea or Vietnam doesn’t count anymore??

Maybe we should assume, just for the moment, that the US army/navy doesn’t dole out medals like candy, and that if someone got a medal, he/she probably deserved it.
These swiftboat hoaxers are soooo blatently obvious, I actually find it insulting somebody would assume I buy that crap. I mean, really, do you WANT to get fooled like some helpless sucker?
