..more than 70%

Posted by Kim on August 28th, 2006

This is outragious!

Health care providers were caught by surprise when they learned the pharmaceutical company providing more than 70 percent of birth control drugs to low-income health programs nationwide had dramatically increased their prices.

Now the birth control is totally out of reach. It’s SO expensive no one can afford it.

“It was really quite shocking,” Gray said. “It’s hard to explain to an 18-year-old who was getting birth control at no cost that she now has to pay $10 or $15.”

First time ive seen a conservative blog complain about *decreased* access to birth control. Its nice to see that not all of them are puritanical fanatics.
