Keeping Hezbollah in Business

Does this surprise anyone? First, France balks at sending any of her own troops for this mission. Then they agree to do so, and now THIS. NO wonder we will never see the turmoil in the Middle East end.

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) – The French general commanding U.N. peacekeeping forces in Lebanon said Monday his troops would not intervene to disarm Hezbollah, even as French President Jacques Chirac said the militant group should not keep a military wing.

Maj. Gen. Alain Pelligrini told reporters the main task of his U.N. force is to ensure southern Lebanon cannot be used as a base for attacks on Israel.

“The disarmament of Hezbollah is not the business of UNIFIL. This is a strictly Lebanese affair, which should be resolved at a national level,” he said.

Since Hezbollah is in control of the Lebanese government…I need not say more. Just send in the peacekeepers to do a job that is impossible to do. There is no peace over there- and there never will be- until the Muslims are

A.) Nuked out of existence or
B) They take on a hatred of their religion and change their mindset.

Since B isn’t going to happen anytime soon, maybe option A should DONE to help them along.
