1517 – Martin Luther posted the 95 Theses on the door of the Wittenberg Palace Church. The event marked the start of the Protestant Reformation in Germany.
1860 – Juliette Low, the founder off the Girl Scouts, was born.
1864 – Nevada became the 36th state to join the U.S.
1868 – Postmaster General Alexander Williams Randall approved a standard uniform for postal carriers.
1887 – Nationalist Chinese leader Chiang Kai-shek was born. He was the first constitutional President of the Republic of China.
1914 – The Ottoman Empire (Turkey) joined the Central Powers (Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Bulgaria).
1922 – Benito Mussolini became prime minister of Italy.
Looking down on the pedestal I spotted the names of each commission member, the governor and others involved with the building and planning, nowhere was it noted the names of the victims or given mention. Feeling my blood boil I turned around to see the infamous inscriptions.
This memorial is a shame to America and I am pissed off at those who decided to build this atrocity.

Tara Reid must feel that proverbial biological clock ticking away, for she’s decided to made a public declaration concerning Carson Daly, the former MTV and current late-nite television host with whom she was formerly engaged and presumably enjoyed lots of wholly mediocre sex.
Hubby is attending seminars and I’m tagging along for fun and relaxation while he’s in classes. I’ve got some serious pool lounging, tedious spa attending and hard-nosed shopping on my agenda.
