If the Republicans hold the House and Senate, I hereby declare a blog party lasting the remainder of the week. To some, such a result has seemed stranger than science-fiction in this 6-year-itch of an election year. I don’t know, but alls I do know is this … If we keep the Demos from taking the House and Senate this year, the Demos will likely implode and cannibalize each other for the foreseeable future.

There’s this unfortunate thing–happens every ten years or so, especially during the midyear following a Presidential re-election–called voter apathy. Most of the time, this is driven by the need to see change, this sort of particularly American need to exercise your Attention Deficit Disorder in the most detrimental manner possible.
Increase regulation, raise taxes — Democrats typically mistrust the effects of tax cuts and how they generate windfall individual and corporate tax revenues, which would otherwise not have materialized, because it is an indirect measure and outside of their direct control — and shoring up entitlements.
