CRIME STATISTICS

Since the federal government has failed miserably at doing it’s job of enforcing immigration laws and border control, many local communities have attempted to do their thing.
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas (AP) – This Dallas suburb could become the first city in Texas to adopt a sweeping ordinance intended to keep out illegal immigrants, a cause for concern among its large minority population.
More than 50 municipalities nationwide have considered, passed or rejected laws banning landlords from leasing to illegal immigrants, penalizing businesses that employ undocumented workers and making English the local official language.
But until now, that trend hasn’t been matched in the Lone Star State.
[...]
The Farmer’s Branch proposal follows a vote this year in Hazleton, Pa., to fine landlords who rent to illegal immigrants, deny business permits to companies that employ them and require tenants to register and pay for a rental permit. However, a federal judge temporarily blocked enforcement of the Hazleton ordinance while he considers a lawsuit against the town by the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund, the American Civil Liberties Union and other groups.More than a dozen other Pennsylvania cities have taken up similar ordinances, as have several others in the South and a handful in California.
Many of the towns and counties have based their ordinances on a model provided by the Immigration Reform Law Institute, which favors limits on immigration and is affiliated with the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
“They’ve all expressed a great deal of frustration with the failure of the federal government to respond” to illegal immigration, said Mike Hethmon, the institute’s general counsel.
The (Non) ACLU and other groups have managed to get these local initiatives blocked, claiming discrimination and other bullshit.
Over at Maggie’s Farm, a list of things people should consider when thinking about the costs of hosting illegal immigrants:
Here’s what happens when you decide to base your new life on breaking the law (data from PoliPundit):

BIRTH STATISTICS

66% plus of all births in California are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
Are the costs in criminal activity worth it? Murder, rape, theft? Americans paying for medical care of people who aren’t working, or who work under the table for some shady cheap labor loving business? What recourse do you have when you’re vehicle is hit by a car driven by an unlicensed uninsured illegal immigrant citizen? Who pays for this? Why are auto insurance rates going up in the Southwest?

Like I’ve said all along, cheap labor from the immigrant work-force is expensive for taxpayers.

I find these numbers to be horrible!!! HOW can people see this and not see a problem? And not be concerned and worried for their own personal safety? And that of their kids?

First and foremost, I’d like to express my utmost appreciation for the Mexican community. Unfortunately, many are unaware or uncompassionate of the hardworking farmers and landscapers that support our way of living. Mexicans are a problem because they are the new wave of immigrants to arrive to this country. Sadly, our country hasn’t changed. Irish immigrants were persecuted unfairly upon arrival to this country and treated as second-class citizens. Now, this new wave of immigrants arrive and citizens are forgetting that we are all descendants of immigrants. THE REAL AMERICANS ARE NATIVE INDIANS. Anyhow, God bless everyone that reads this and I pray that the Good Lord will open your heart to being understanding of all peoples regardless of race or heritage. In Jesus’ eyes, we are all his people.

Legal immigration is being restricted in this country because of 12-20 million Illegal Immigrants. Any nation’s economy would be overwhelmed by these numbers. We can have sympathy for these people, but we cannot afford to support them. How long before our country can no longer afford it’s Legal citizens. These illegal immigrants pay far less into our economy than they take out. Most of their money is sent back to Mexico, not re-invested in America. They drain our struggling education funds, have forced many hospitals and clinics to close, and the crime rates are doubling in many areas. Our country needs educated productive immigrants, not freeloaders.
