About Those Models…
Posted by Raven on December 8th, 2006
A couple weeks back I posted about a model who died of complications of anorexia. Some people don’t think it’s a problem with the industry- models are naturally skinny and it’s much ado about nothing. Young girls don’t look to these as role models, right?
Wrong. I found these images of popular models, at a teeny bopper girl site…
where the young ladies were all writing about how much they wanted to LOOK like this:
And this:
The girls were excited about how pretty they would like in their wedding gowns, with a body like this:
There was some chat about how this model is FAT.
…and how this one needs to “cultivate” her makeup better so she doesn’t look so chubby in the cheeks.

They look like concentration camp victims with nice clothes.
No amount of money is worth doing that to your body.

Man, I absolutely HATE ultra-skinny women. Give me a beautiful woman with natural curves and I’ll die a happy man.
In fact, give me two.

One of these models tried to get a boob job and was turned away…docs told her to gain 40lbs first.
We’ll be reading about them- their deaths- if they don’t stop this soon…this not eating bulloney. To look like they do is truly sad…but it’s even worse to know there are managers who insist upon this look to make money.

Britney, Paris, Lindsay, and now…Courtney Love
Ewwww. (Safe for work.)
Did I miss the memo or something? Going commando in a miniskirt is the new black, or what? I think I’ll pass, thank you very much.
I think Camille Paglia speaks for all women with brains–not just self-described …

Those photos are really sad.
The worst part is that this is supposed to be the “perfect” size. Teenagers always want to live up to that look. The fashion industry is
projecting a deadly image!
