Unfair + Unbalanced= Profit Loss

MSM taking a hard hit.

NEW YORK – The New York Times [NYT] Co. posted a $648 million loss for the fourth quarter on Wednesday as it absorbed an $814.4 million charge to write down the value of its struggling New England properties, The Boston Globe and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

The company said the non-cash charge reflected declines in current and projected results at the newspapers, which have been hit hard by the consolidations of key advertisers, a poor economic climate and greater competition from online media.

It’s also about being fair and balanced- something the NYT and Boston Globe know little about. If they would just report, without the bias, without the obvious, not-so-subtle anti American slant to almost every piece written, people might be more inclined to buy. The Internet provides people with alternatives to the MSM. Democracy works every time. Not one sided agenda reporting.
