Beneath the dignity of the debate

A few days ago Cruella DeVille had this to say, in response to VP Cheney’s remarks about the Lemoncrats (TM) Cut and Run Strategy:
You cannot say as the president of the United States, ‘I welcome disagreement in a time of war,’ and then have the vice president of the United States go out of the country and mischaracterize a position of the speaker of the House and in a manner that says that person in that position of authority is acting against the national security of our country,Pelosi,at a news conference in San Francisco, said Cheney’s criticism of Democrats was “beneath the dignity of the debate we’re engaged in and a disservice to our men and women in uniform, whom we all support.”
“And you know what I’m going to do? I’m going to call the president and tell him I disapprove of what the vice president said,” Pelosi said. “It has no place in our debate.” Bush had previously urged her to call him when a member of his administration stepped over the line by questioning Democrats’ patriotism, she said.
And today a headline reads:
Democrats Move to Limit Bush’s Authority
WASHINGTON (AP) – Four years ago, Congress passed legislation authorizing President Bush to go to war in Iraq. Now Senate Democrats want to take it back.Key lawmakers, backed by party leaders, are drafting legislation that would effectively revoke the broad authority granted to the president in the days Saddam Hussein was in power, and leave U.S. troops with a limited mission as they prepare to withdraw.
Officials said Thursday the precise wording of the measure remains unsettled. One version would restrict American troops in Iraq to fighting al-Qaida, training Iraqi army and police forces, maintaining Iraq’s territorial integrity and otherwise proceeding with the withdrawal of combat forces.
Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., intends to present the proposal to fellow Democrats next week, and he is expected to try to add the measure to anti-terrorism legislation scheduled to be debated later this month.
I question the patriotism of MOST Democrats. I do indeed.
You can’t have it both ways Nancy. Actions speak louder than words. Keep on sabotaging. Keep on surrendering. You’re making your place in history…the woman who brought down America.

Another silly proposal. They plan to limit our troops to “fighting al-Qaida, training Iraqi army and police forces, maintaining Iraq’s territorial integrity and otherwise proceeding with the withdrawal of combat forces.” It seems to me that everything they are doing in Iraq today could fit under one of those categories. If we ever discover that our troops are delivering pizzas, running meth labs, or running a comedy club, I fully support telling them to get back on the job of fighting al-Qaida, training Iraqi forces, and maintaining Iraq’s territorial integrity.

Every move the Democrats make is to help them win in 2008. None of these resolutions or legislation will pass without a lot of GOP support. However, the left is winning huge in public opinion…for now.

So our troops will have to decide which young, angry gun wielding, suicide bomb vest wearing Arab looking man is a member of AQ and which isn’t?? NO.
It is getting silly now. And the Dems look it…
I guess Cheney is a better person than I am:
“I’m not sure what part of it is that Nancy disagreed with. She accused me of questioning her patriotism. I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.”
I question BOTH. And not just of Nancy. Of MOST the Lemoncrats.

PC- the Dems are starting to look desparate, not at all like winners.
If anything, they’re showing their true color- WHITE- for surrender.
Hate to say that but IMO it’s the truth. So I hope they keep this up. I really do. Because other than the far left they are not impressing too many.

If not for the HEROES of United Flight 93, the four radical Islomaniac hijackers would have flown UF 93 into the U.S. Capital or White House at 10:30 a.m. on September 11, 2001! Some of these 2008 presidential candidates may not have survived the Islamic Kamikaze attack! Our First Lady Laura W. Bush was INSIDE Sen. Ted Kennedy’s office that day on the Hill at that time, and before the evacuations occurred.
As a U.S. Air Force Cold War, Gulf War and Somalia DAV, I’m absolutely disgusted with the Democratic Liberals cowardice and with the GOPhers in elephant skins placing inaction and cowardice above God, Country and Family security! The terms TREASON, TRAITOR , TREACHERY and Benedict Arnold come to mind. And just two days ago, the Islamomaniacs used chlorene gas to kill Iraqis – an nobody cares?

The Nancy thought VP Cheney’s comments called her patriotism into question and was about to call the President about it.
Well, Ms. Queen of America, if the foe shits, wear it.

Nancy is finding the shoes might not fit her as well as she thought.
AND WHAT A BABY!!
“I’m GONNA CALL THE PRESIDENT AND TATTLE ON DICK!!”
Sheesh.

darthcrUSAderworldtour07: (that’s quite a LONG name…lol)
Thank you for reminding us about the first casualties of this war.
I think many on the left forget, and don’t care that they forget.
