A Democrat Stands up to the Lemoncrats™

One Democrat today threw off the Lemoncrat™ chains and spoke like a patriot of old.
Senator Carl Levin, during hearings of the Senate Armed Services Committee, took a strong stand for aggressive military action to protect our troops. In his questioning of John Michael McConnell, Director of National Intelligence, Sen. Levin made these statements:
I think we ought to take action on all fronts including Syria and any other source of weapons coming in, obviously Iran is the focus – but it shouldn’t be the sole focus.
and
I was just wondering, does the military have a plan to, if necessary, to go into Syria to go to the source of any weapons coming from Syria?
and
I think we ought to take action on all fronts including Syria.

Kudos are in order for Senator Levin, and hopefully he will stay the course. And hopefully other brave Democrats will follow him to put country above party.

WHOA…really now. Is there hope?? Between Levin and Lieberman I might gain a little respect to the party of losers.

Levin is a big improvement over his fellow Democrat on the Armed Services Committee, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

You certainly seem to have much to say about Hillary (or as you’re careful to remind us – Hillary Rodham Clinton) backed by extensive research. It’s hard to break through the historical amnesia that our rapid-fire technological overload society induces.
