Goring the Public – Part 3

Posted by civil truth on March 5th, 2007

A great offering from Cox & Forkum that says all you probably need to know about Al Gore in his public persona:

Conspicuous Consumption

And for you transgressors out there, Iowahawk offers absolution at a bargain price. If Al can buy exculpation by selling indulgences to himself, why shouldn’t there be a program for us ordinary citizens who find ourselves in delicto with our energy consumption.

I checked out my carbon footprint and am sad to report that I only rate a 10  We are going in this weekend to trade our small cars for Suburbans!

I wont even bother checking for my footprint. No way. I don’t trust the science behind that even. LOL..it’s all a big gimmick I say…lots of money to be made by many creative people who will invent GREEN goodies for us to use…and charge outrageous amounts of cash for of course.

Heh. I think I’m gonna invent a way to harness the power of all mankinds’ farts and see if this will keep Albore’s houses lit up.

The global warming movement is looking more like the structure of medieval Catholicism every day, complete with priests and inquisitions and auto-da-fes. These carbon footprint sites are like confessionals; they ask you to itemize your sins and then decide how much money you should pay as penance. Their next step will be to subjugate the state to their “papal” bull.
