I thought Hollywood had pretty much given up on bashing Bush and the war, and all others things related to terrorism. But no. The Reality Based Community that IS Hollywood is producing another gem:
March 22, 2007 — SOME celebrities don’t know when to keep their traps shut – like Charlie Sheen and Rosie O’Donnell, who are throwing their weight behind the twisted theory that the United States government was behind the 9/11 terror attacks.
Page Six has learned that Sheen, the hooker-loving Hollywood hunk, has agreed to narrate a new version of the loopy YouTube documentary “Loose Change,” which claims that a corrupt faction within the federal government orchestrated the mass murder at the World Trade Center.
Sources say Sheen – whose father, Martin Sheen, has been arrested 63 times protesting on behalf of various leftist causes – is in talks with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban’s Magnolia Pictures to distribute “Loose Change.” Sheen has called for a new independent probe of the attack, telling Alex Jones’ radio show: “It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75 percent of their targets, that feels like a conspiracy theory. It raises a lot of questions.”
This speaks to the mindset of so many liberals. They cannot accept that 19 evil young men of Middle eastern decent did indeed take over 4 flights, and reap so much damage upon our country…back in 2001. People like Sheen and so many others refuse to label the threat for what it is, and dangerously, they chose to promote theories that, if taken at their word, would soften this country even more. Soften people who need to be harder, who need to see the threats as they really are. These people, Sheen and his ilk, are very stupid and very dangerous.

On behalf of all liberals, I repeat my usual response: This man does not represent us.
Conspiricy theorists are usually too distanced from reality to have any meaningful political association.

Hollywood liberals are the new and improved ‘Alternate’ Reality Based Community. the sad thing is they carry such weight with the rest of the left.
SR, On Behalf of all liberals you should fight them more for makeing all liberals looks really wacko. Many MSM organizations say they represent them and the rest of the liberals. This mantra is becoming more of a central viewpoint of Liberals in America.

Unfortunately, it’s in the very nature of all too many people (and by all too many, I mean tens of millions) to perceive the utterings of every kind of celebrity from athletes to entertainers as gospel, no evidence required. These gullible multitudes apparently believe that when celebrities speak, they speak for all — hell, most of the time they even CLAIM to speak for the vast majority of Americans while falling deeply into the liberal camp.
Perversely, I am reminded of an underground play I attended in the West Village (113 Jane Street, at midnight) back in the 1970s, put on by a troupe called The Hot Peaches (I forget the title of the play), in which each character played a dual role as a Hollywood star and a Greek god or goddess. It was incredibly similar to the reality of today’s Hollywood and the empty-headed egotists within.

It’s okay! Charlie Sheen played a Navy S.E.A.L. once and his dad played the President on TV! How can he not be an expert on all things government and special operations? /sarcasm

SR- I challenge you, then, to denounce this sham of a movie or YouTube event. Come on. I dare you to write a post stating your intent displeasure or non approval. I do it here all the time…I’m not shy when it comes to denouncing my polcat leaders who let me down…and the other personalities who some think speak for me.

Yeah, I know. It doesn’t help that government class is just about a replacement for studyhall anymore. It also doesn’t help that the last generation that had a substantial portion of its members in the military or in combat is in the 80+ range now.
