Spreading the Terrorist’s Message
Posted by Duncan on March 28th, 2007
My favorite part of this CNN terrorist masturbation fest :
All over the world, members of the news media choose to stand in horrible rooms or dangerous regions to act as megaphones. We tell the story of people who cannot tell their own. It’s not all refugee camps and starving kids. Sometimes, it’s a man who kills himself in order to kill others — and his story is as important as any other story we can ever tell.
Sure, the author talks about the poor widdle U.S. Army soldiers who are too dumb or downtrodden to know any better than join the military. Sure he mentions the wounded and the dead. But really, the impression I get from this is a depressing, “we can never win against people like this” defeatest mantra. Standard from the MSM these days… May God forbid the surge work and Iraq becomes stable… how will Hillary win?

“All over the world, members of the news media choose to stand in horrible rooms or dangerous regions to act as megaphones.”
As soon as the shooting starts, most of these “embedded” brave reporters head for the tall timber — requiring vital military assets to leave the combat areas where they are needed in order to escort said brave journalists to safe positions.
From these safe positions, they can “report” according to the MSM’s party line.

Yeah and some of these media misfits endanger our troops with their stupid antics. I don’t like this embed reporting. No. It’s biased. It’s never fair or balanced. The two don’t mix…media and military. The media is out to SLAM the military at every opportunity.

It’s the moral equivalency that gets me: the equating of a suicide bomber with “refugee camps and starving children” as stories equally important to be told – no comparative evaluation, no revulsion at the perpetrators of evil, no resolution to prevent these evildoers from accomplishing their goals.

It makes me sick.
They call terrorists insurgents. Freedom fighters.
Why not:
killers
murderers
