WHERE’S THE OUTRAGE!!!!

Posted by Duncan on April 13th, 2007

Seriously. WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE!! Where are the “Reverends” Jackson and Sharpton asking for Cafepress to take down these racially insensitive items, items that are being sold at the expense of the “poor widdle” Rutgers women’s basketball team.

I don’t much care for Imus one way or the other. What he said was definitiely inappropriate and I sure as heck wouldn’t condone such speech. But what happened to Imus was that he was a white man saying these things. I guarantee if he had been black, the outrage, if ANY, would have been almost non-existent, especially from the race-baiters Jackson and Sharpton, who would not have been able to continue their shakedown schemes.

There is just so much hypocrisy in this. Sharpton, Jackson, and their ilk, all have an agenda, and none of it corresponds to the man they all wish and dream they could be.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” – Dr Martin Luther King, Jr

With men like Sharpton and Jackson, their race-baiting tactics and unwillingness to tackle bigotry and hatred that dwells in their own culture, as well as their continued victimization, we’re still waiting for Dr King’s dream.

This whole situation is nothing but a huge whinefest by the usual professional victims, and their enablers-for-hire, $harpton and Je$$e.

Your post is right on the money. If “fiddy cent” had made those comments, it wouldn’t even cause a stir.

Raven, my thoughts exactly. What a double standard. Yes, it was inappropriate….but if some black comedian had said it, people would have laughed and everything would be fine. If it’s wrong for white people to say it, it should be wrong for EVERYONE to say it.

  6. Raven Says:

    Professional victims???

oooh I like that one too….and it is very true.

  7. Raven Says:

Tammy this is a perfect example of how our society THRIVES on these double standards..it gives people something to whine about…people who need to be a victim. And of course we have Jesse running to every victims rescue—every black victim that is. The rest of us who are called names and all- we’re on our own.
