Good Stuff: NC Conservative Leadership Conference

Ogre is attending, AND live blogging this year’s North Carolina Conservative Leadership Conference. I read through his many posts about the speeches and issues, and so should YOU. While this conference is for NC Conservatives, I think we all could take something away from it all. I especially liked the post about Illegal Immigration. So grab yourself a cold beer, or hot muggah coffee and go READ.

Conservativism is the effort to keep things the way they are. So if everyone is staying where they are, how do you identify the leaders in a group that does not move in any direction?

And, the current crop of conservatives are trying to move America in a direction that is LEFTWARD.
I believe Conservatives want to keep tradition alive; they want people to take personal responsibility for themselves and stop blaming everyone else; they want small government and nanny statehoodism.
