Radical Islamists Happy With Jackass Party

Posted by Duncan on April 28th, 2007

Well I am once again, dying of not surprise.

Democratic presidential hopefuls flashing their anti-war credentials last night at a national debate by stating they would immediately withdraw from Iraq, encouraged Palestinian terrorist leaders here, who labeled the debate a victory for Iraqi insurgents and “resistance movements” throughout the world.

(snip)

“The (Democrat) debate showed that like in Vietnam the American people needed these thousands of soldiers killed to see that invading other people will always result in a failure. … I think the Democrats will win and apply an immediate withdrawal, but if they don’t (withdraw), the revolutionary movements in Iraq will intensify attacks, and I think you should prepare for another big attack in the U.S.”

[Wait a sec? This is Vietnam? Only in the sense that the Democrats once again prove that they have no spines. And if we don't pull out of Iraq, then we can expect another big attack on US soil? Kinda of like when we were in Iraq on 9/11/01? We WEREN'T in Iraq on 9/11 and we STILL were attacked? Say it ain't SO! - DA]

Abu Aziz said it was “very good” there are “voices like Hillary and others who are now attacking the Iraq invasion.”

“I think the more Americans receive the bodies of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, the more the conservatives in the U.S. will be sentenced to be thrown in the garbage,” he said.

[That's right, Harry "Loser" Reid just reaffirmed to the terrorists that all they have to do is continue killing our soldiers 1 or 2 at a time, and we'' declare the war lost and retreat. Asshat. - DA]

Abu Muhammad, a leader of the Islamic Jihad terrorist group in northern West Bank city of Telkerem, said he believes both the Democrats and Republicans are controlled by Israel but said he thinks the Democrats are better for his group’s interests.

“They will keep supporting Israel, but, yes, I think the Democrats are preferred and have a bigger chance of withdrawing from Iraq and making deals with Iran and Syria.”

The American people should realize exactly who supports the Democratic Party and its platform concerning this nation’s security. Our enemy.

Remember, Harry Reid called the war in Iraq a “quagmire” and compared it to Vietnam. He said it would “drag on” indefinitely, costing billions. He accused the president of failing to specify how long our troops would have to stay, and he urged the administration to withdraw. When “the body bags start coming home,” Reid said, it’s time to cut our losses.

Reid kept going, talking about the need for peace. “The White House has bombed its way around the globe,” he sneered. “International respect and trust for America has diminished every time we casually let the bombs fly.” As for the current war plan, Reid complained that “no one wants us to be there” and that the president’s crusade “has harmed [our] standing in the world.”

And given the climate, I suppose Reid was pushing his luck when he urged Congress to de-fund the war and “pull out the forces we now have in the region.” What’s worse, Reid basically made the United States look like the bad guy. Once a U.S.-led coalition “starts meddling in the internal affairs of sovereign nations, where does it stop?” Reid asked. He charged that we were “starting to resemble a power-hungry imperialist army” and portrayed our mission as an “occupation by foreigners.”

Are all of these comments harsh? Do they undermine the troops while they’re in harm’s way? Do they amount, literally, to “treason”?

Harry Reid called the war in Iraq a “quagmire” and compared it to Vietnam.

Isn’t it interesting how those who complain about Iraq becoming the next Vietnam are doing their darndest to make sure that that’s exactly what happens?

“International respect and trust for America has diminished every time we casually let the bombs fly.”

You mean like when Mr. Bill let those bombs fly down onto Serbia?
Speaking of trust, will abandoning our allies in Iraq improve international trust for the U.S.?

the president’s crusade “has harmed [our] standing in the world.”

And how will retreat/withdrawal/surrender improve our standing? (Bear in mind that our withdrawal from Vietnam and abandonment of the South Vietnamese people didn’t exactly improve our standing back then.)

Democrats and terrorists agree: Get American troops out of Iraq!
