Friday (Late) Afternoon News & Links

Posted by Raven on June 22nd, 2007

  • But I thought these things happened only in America, under Bush Hitler?
  • Keep finding excuses to dope up the kids.
  • I wouldn’t pay this tramp ten cents for an interview. Sheesh. Culture sludge, and she’s a role model for our daughters.
  • Sadie had a wet dream!
  • Pfft. I will NOT, EVER, purchase an IPhone. Why? Because I’m a snob when it comes to those things EVERYONE else will scoop up. I need to be different, I guess. And smarter, and more frugal. And mindful of what is a waste of MONEY.
  • Michael tells Rep. Hutchinson:

…keep the pressure on. Stop this craziness.

She’s a hero; she stands up for the right things even if it makes her unpopular among certain classes of POLECATS.

  • Health Care Lobbying: It DOES stand in the way of safe patient care. This is a liberal issue, I realize, but very truthful. The references to Michael Moore and his movie SICKO, however, totally take the seriousness of the message away. Why his name comes up is beyond me, but nurses and others just blew it big time.
  • HEY! I wear Crocs and LOVE them at work. They are awesome when one has to be on their feet all day, literally running on carpet covered concrete floors!
  • Heh. A hand written invitation to America. How sweet.
  • Status symbol child rearing…Now who is this really for? Parent or child? Creating spoiled adult brats eventually.
  • Excellent article about the divisions in the GOP. And the growing-so-needed third party. (Which I would join in a nano second at this point)
  • Interesting:

The Holy Land Foundation terror case has already touched the top Muslim lobby in Washington — the Council on American-Islamic Relations — which U.S. prosecutors recently named as an unindicted co-conspirator.

A former senior CAIR official is among five indicted figures in the major terror-funding case. It turns out he is related by marriage to a key suspect in the conspiracy — a radical Muslim cleric and activist who authorities have linked to al-Qaida.

In fact, they say the cleric is closely connected to the spiritual adviser to the 9/11 hijackers…

    1. civil truth Says:

Nor surprisingly, the CNA/NNOC report doesn’t identify their own lobbying expenditures of those of other unions. Big money is involved, but it’s not just one party in the health care enterprise. And do these researchers actually believe Michael Moore’s stagecraft and really want a Cuban medical system whose leaders find medical care outside of their country, or are they willfully masquerading as credulous. Looks like some of their neurons have shorted out…
