Seminar: How To NOT hire Americans

Big business helping Big Business- to NOT hire Americans.
Lawyer from Cohen & Grigsby speaking at a conference on how not to hire Americans and and get H-1B permits. Instructions are given to employers on these topics:
1) How to run classified ads with the goal of NOT finding any qualified applicants.
2) The steps to go through to disqualify even the most qualified Americans in order to secure H-1b visas for immigrants classified as “skilled workers.”
H-1B visa holders typically perform well paying jobs at a fraction of what an American citizen earns for the same work.
Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Cisco, Motorola, Yahoo, Google, IBM, Hewlet-Packard and many other companies are running ads in Sunday newspapers across the country each week. When you see this video, you’ll question the honesty and integrity of these and many other companies. And remember this- all these claims about the US not having enough tech workers is pure BULLSHIT. Microsoft is the worst offender of them all. These are all cheap businesses looking for profit at any and all costs, including of course, the American worker. It all ties together nicely with the immigration overhaul bill. We need to QUESTION the numbers and other economic stories we’re being told when it comes to jobs no American will do.

My son-in-law is a computer network specialist, who has been having trouble finding positions, other than short-term, contract work. Now I know why.

Oh Linda…I have found SO MUCH information about this BLACK MARKET (for lack of a better name) we have here in the US…it’s criminal and I think we’ll all be reading a lot more about these practices real soon.
And some of us WILL demand that Bush AND Congress explain this to us all.
