“We have a number of vehicles that are underneath big pieces of concrete, and we do know we have some people in those vehicles,” Minneapolis Police Chief Tim Dolan said. “We do know we have more casualties at the scene.”
Even more tragic? Bridge was deemed structurally deficient in 2005.
Rick Moran writes:
Tommy Makem and the Clancy brothers were a little different. Their traditional Irish ditties, patriotic songs, and wonderful stories set to music revealed both the Irish experience in America and, more importantly, what those immigrants were fleeing when they came here. For me, their music inspired a far more personal journey than the great issues being illuminated by the Pete Seegers or Peter, Paul, and Mary’s of the folk music scene. The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem’s music opened the door to discovering my family’s Irish heritage and helped us all take enormous pride in who we were and where we came from.
“Facebook has brought to the forefront of my social life a necessity I seldom considered before selling my soul and signing up two months ago, friend quantity,” laments the young woman in a message to The Washington Post. “Sure, we knew that the cool girls reigned in high school, but never before has such an unquestionably accurate popularity meter indicated down to the last individual your worth as a human being (or, at least, the precise number of people who thought you were worth the two seconds it takes to ‘friend’ someone).”
FACEBOOK SUCKS. Who uses it??
They are viewed as monsters - depraved, cold-blooded killers with the icy will to slaughter their children.
But experts say moms who kill their own are far from evil, instead describing them as isolated, depressed and desperate individuals in need of help.
“We must remember these women are mentally ill and imbalanced so even the most illogical act seems perfectly viable,” said professor Cheryl Meyer, co-author of the book “Mothers Who Kill Their Children.”
Uh huh. Let’s keep making excuses for acts of cold blooded malice and murder; let’s continue to enable these MONSTERS to get away with their crimes. I have NO sympathy for a one of them. They always have choices. They chose to kill.
Now, a legal battle is breaking out. A collection of Arizona business leaders are seeking a preliminary injunction to block the state’s bill before it goes into affect on Jan. 1. In the suit, the Arizona Contractors Assn. and the Arizona Employers for Immigration Reform, a coalition of local businesses, argue that the law violates the U.S. Constitution, the state constitution, and the right to due process.
It’s NOT that difficult to find and hire Americans. I’m not buying the excuses here. Neither should anyone else.
Mujibar’s Immigration Test
Yellow, Pink, and Green
Mujibar was trying to get into the USA legally through Immigration.
The Officer said, “Mujibar, you have passed all the tests, except there is one more test. Unless you pass it, you cannot enter the United States of America ”
Mujibar said, “I am ready.”
The officer said, “Make a sentence using the words Yellow, Pink and Green.”Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said,
“Mister Officer, I am ready.”The Officer said, “Go ahead.”
Mujibar said, “The telephone goes green, green, green, and I pink it up, and say, ‘Yellow’, this is Mujibar.’”
Mujibar now lives in a neighborhood near you and works at a Verizon help desk.
I talked to him yesterday.
