Human Smuggler Threatens BP Agent – Gets Shot/Killed

Posted by Duncan on August 10th, 2007

EL PASO, Texas — A Border Patrol agent shot and killed a suspected smuggler at a fence that separates the U.S. and Mexico after the agent felt threatened by the man, authorities said Thursday.

Mexico criticized what it described as an “excessive use of force” against immigrants and demanded an investigation.

Jose Alejandro Ortiz Castillo, a 23-year-old man who had been caught crossing the border 28 times since 1999, died in Mexico shortly after the Wednesday night shooting, Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said.

An unidentified agent spotted Ortiz apparently leading two men and a woman through a hole in the border fence just east of downtown El Paso. Ortiz, who was carrying bolt cutters, picked up a rock as the agent was arresting the woman, Mosier said.

Mosier said the agent “felt threatened by the actions of the assailant who was holding a rock and bolt cutters.”

And the Mexican government DEMANDS, yes, DEMANDS that the full weight of the law be brought against the persons responsible.

Well, you can start with Mexican Government Officials. They are not preventing illegals from crossing into the United States, and have gone as far as printing out pamphlets in order to help them safely cross through dangerous areas, for “humanitarian” reasons of course. Hell, Senor Castillo had been caught crossing at least 28 times, and this time he was actually smuggling people, not just “coming to work in construction”. (Sidethought. Say the BP Agent did not use his sidearm to stop Senor Castillo, and Senor Castillo threw that rock, hitting the BP agent in the head and killing him. And say Senor Castillo got back around into Mexico. The Mexican Government in their self-righteous indignation would not extradite him back unless we said he would not receive the death penalty.)

Then you can start with the man himself, Senor Castillo. He is one responsible for doing the illegal activity. Apparently he picked up a rock, a weapon favored by illegals who threaten, or actually attack, BP Agents. That agent is not a blood-thirsty bigot who wants to kill the poor widdle brown people crossing the border to smuggle the people that Americans won’t, as I am sure the KosTards and DUmmies will assert in their blind rage of pseudo-tolerance. I am sure he pulled the trigger because he felted threaten and shot to prevent bodily injury, or death, to himself. Hopefully they will have video to substantiate his claims, else they will end up with the Mexican consulate meeting with the “immigrants” witnesses to muddy the waters.

Then you can blame the US Government for repeatedly selling out their own agents against those who willingly break American immigration and customs laws, encouraging the Mexican government to DEMAND, DEMAND I SAY! that their law-breaking citizens be given a pass yet the book should be thrown at BP agents who defend themselves against this scum.

(Note for Trolls : I am not advocating the wholesale slaughter of illegal immigrants. I am advocating the use of deadly force in the defense of one’s self or others who might be endangered. I am not saying that there should not be an investigation, there should be. However, for the Mexican government to cry foul just irks me. It is kinda like two illegal Mexican immigrants who rape and murder a 15 year old having the audacity to ask for warmer jail clothes.. through their interpreter of course.)

Here is a refresher of an earlier BP Agent shooting and a illegal alien throwing the rocks at law enforcement officers that no American will throw (and I am positive that our agents at the border face this day in and day out):

That looked like justified use of deadly force to me.

The Mexican government has nothing to say here, as the deader was on our soil committing a felony and whether he was attacking the BP agent with a pistol, a sharpened stick or a rock, he was still immediately threatening the man’s life.

    Seth,

I should say, and will update the post, to reflect that the video I posted is of a separate, yet probably similar, shooting than the one that occured this past Wednesday. However, I agree that the Mexican Government has little to really say concerning this because I believe that the agent felt threatened enough to pull his sidearm and use deadly force. It is a shame, but Senor Castillo made his choice. The Government of Mexico can go pound sand. I hope this agent is not thrown under the bus by the DOJ and DHS.

I would have used “deadly” force here too. What a farce…and Mexico is totally complacent with this. As you said, start cleaning up their own front and back yrds before asking US to do so. Since it is the Mexicans who pollute our yards…afterall.

  4. Raven Says:

oh and have you seen this story? :!::!::!:

  5. BAS Says:

mexico will demand that the BP agent be prosecuted, as that is the mexican govt way of doing things. In Texas, mexico seems to call the shots when it comes to their garbage getting killed or hurt. The sad truth is that our pathetic government will more than likely ask mexico the landfill to the south of us how it should proceed and once they tell us, a US Attorney will go after the agent with a vengeance and make an ass of himself by saying that the garbage shot was an upstanding citizen who actually had his hands up but the criminal agent shot him anyway. Then our govt. will pay the garbage’s family millions of dollars and the mexican govt. will pat our gov on the head and say good boy.

Yeah, I saw that story. It is amazing to me that we don’t deport these scumbags as soon as we find out they’re illegal. We have enough LEGAL scumbag citizens to have to deal with those imported from other countries.

  7. Raven Says:

uugh…BAS sadly, you’re probably right on this. It pisses me off! Look at what these illegals do; and look how governments allow and enable it to continue.

WHERE IS THE LEADERSHIP here? We have NONE.

  8. Raven Says:

The scumbucket who killed those college kids last week had already been charged with RAPING A 5 YR OLD CHILD!! For God’s sake!! And he was out free.

  9. Duncan Avatar Says:

Yeah, how does a person who rapes a 5 year old make bail. How? By getting his bond set at 150,000 buckaroos.. SOB should be stuck in jail get some sweet cornholin’ from Big Bubba awaiting his trial…

  10. Ogre Says:

I think laws should only apply to citizens. We are AT WAR, people. MEXICO IS INVADING THIS COUNTRY. Therefore, I think that all people should be free to shoot anyone who crosses the border illegally. Harsh? You bet. IT’S WAR.

Short of this, there is NO solution to the Mexican invasion. None.

What bugs me is this…. these people come to this country to work. Fine. Hell, they come here illegally… not only their fault, but ours for not securing the border so they have to come legally….

what really gets under my skin is that they come here and make no attempt to assimilate into our culture. And we cater to them… we write our signs in English AND Spanish. IF you buy food down in a border state, I guarantee it will have two languages on it. They don’t want to learn English, and have no incentive. Ofcourse, the libtards say we are bigoted racists who are trying to force our corrupt culture on these poor unfortunates… bull crap.. my ancestors spoke German when they showed up.. and damn it.. they had to learn English too if they wanted to make something of themselves… but I guess the libtards, and our government, are just going to try and give this country away.. atleast the the southwest portion anyways…

  12. Raven Says:

Yes Duncan, we create many of the incentives that attract these people.

But what about the business community? Those who seek the cheap labor? At a costs to all of us…and to those once did these jobs, Americans. YES, Americans used to do these jobs…and no, we’re not beneath it.
The business lobby has a lot to do with all this too, I’d venture to say more than 75% of the problem is them.

  13. Raven Says:

I agree with Ogre. Put this into the hands of the people. Problem solved very fast. Guaranteed.
