Young Adults Want to Defend Themselves

College students want to defend themselves; who can blame them after the VT shootings?
RICHMOND — College students are pushing for their schools to allow them to carry guns on campus, saying they should have the right to protect themselves in a situation like the one in which 32 Virginia Tech students and faculty were fatally shot.
Let’s see how the administrators of higher ed campuses deal with this. Will those who think they know what’s best (the anti gun crowd) explain to these young people that they have no right to self defense?

The more the foolish and complicit media work to demoralize Law Enforcement the more tragic and senseless violence and ‘crimes of opportunity’ fall on young people. My own 17 year old son has been the victim of two race-motivated beat-downs. He’s a tough husky football player and can handle himself, but when six or seven black kids use him as a ‘crime of opportunity’ the blame must be laid at those whose agenda it is to undermine all confidence in Law Enforcement.
I do what I can to help through satire.

All people should be able to defend themselves from threats. And, to be sure, most people are not too dumb to NOT use a gun safely and properly. My daughters and I carry firearms with us 24/7- we like life and aren’t about to let anyone take it away.

Don’t mess with us. We will shoot you…so the sign says on my front door.

The media are especially ignorant of this. The other day they referred to a church shooting where the gunman used a “9mm Semi-automatic Machine Pistol”. Machine Pistol? Is there any other kind of semi-auto? It sure wasn’t a flintlock!!
I hope that these campuses will allow lawfully licensed and trained students to carry firearms on school grounds. But I am not holding my breath…
