The AP Stands Up for Obama

Nice quote. You know that evil U.S military.. JUST out there air-raiding villages and killing civilians. Kinda inspires pictures of Full Metal Jacket with the door gunner of a helo gunning down innocent farmers. ‘How do you kill innocent civilians’ asks Pvt. Joker. ‘Easy’, replies the psychotically grinning door gunner, ‘ you just don’t lead them as much!’ And ofcourse, in this political season, both the RNC and Obama’s presidential opponents jumped on the comment.
Under the title “The Spin” the AP brings up horrible examples of how the evil RNC and the other Dhimmicratic Candidates are “spinning” Obama’s words to hurt him. The AP writer then has a section titled “Fact Check”.
A check of the facts shows that Western forces have been killing civilians at a faster rate than the insurgents have been killing civilians.
The U.S. and NATO say they don’t have civilian casualty figures, but The Associated Press has been keeping count based on figures from Afghan and international officials. Tracking civilian deaths is a difficult task because they often occur in remote and dangerous areas that are difficult to reach and verify.
As of Aug. 1, the AP count shows that while militants killed 231 civilians in attacks in 2007, Western forces killed 286. Another 20 were killed in crossfire that can’t be attributed to one party.
That’s right. Just check the facts people. The US and NATO forces are killing MORE civilians than the Taliban. And the AP is keeping a tally (based on highly unreliable counts by “Afghan and international” sources), so lets just trust those “FACTS”, nevermind how unreliable they may, or may not.. be. Besides that, I’d be willing to bet, just willing to bet, that the Taliban TARGETED the civilians attributed to them INTENTIONALLY in order to murder and inspire terror and fear. The US and NATO forces were TARGETING TALIBAN forces, probably hiding behind and in the civilian population, causing the unfortunate civilian casualties. Difference? Hmm? Nuance?
But I guess I am not nuanced enough to understand that we are just evil, imperialists killing poor, innocents. The facts speak for themselves. The Americans are worse for the Afghanis than the Taliban. Hey, the AP writer just did a fact check, using Afghan sources. I wonder if these numbers are including in her tally of the civilians killed? I wouldn’t doubt it. But I am glad that they are sticking up for Senator Obama and preventing any type of “spin” on his statement. Or perhaps they should be on the Obama campaign’s payroll for spinning them for them.

Besides the fact that obama is talking out of his butt, not unusual with politicians. The bogus claims of civilian casualties are outrageous. Has anyone noticed when an insurgent group is hit and the military gives estimates of possible enemy killed, the first thing you hear from other sources is that no insurgents were killed only civilians, men, women and children. So after all these years our military if we listen to everyone else has yet to kill any insurgents, it has only killed civilians. I’d rather believe our military and sorry to say all other lying sources can go to hell.

Meatbrain is a what I call a pseudo-intellectual. He thinks he is so nuanced and witty. He really thinks this. What is so hilarious is that he think he caught Jim Hoft in some lie and that he misquoted Obama. What a douche. The guy just replaced “we” in the quote with the US, and Meaty is all over it as a horrible misquoted lie. And then kender calls him on it.. and he just puts his fingers in his ears and SCREAMS “DONT CARE DONT CARE HE LIED HE LIED”.

Obama was off to a flying start in his campaign, but due to his more recent foot (all the way to the groin)-in-mouth demonstrations of foreign policy moronics and gross Durbinisms, he’s probably never gonna be a contender. Calling him an ass insults backsides everywhere.

I’ve read that Obama’s campaign is going to pay for these statements (that Meathead says were never made…) That’s too bad because I was enjoying the openly hostile debates between Obama and Shillary. He gave her a run for her money.
