Taking out the entire Iranian military?
Posted by Kim on September 2nd, 2007
Does anyone smell the scent of war, coming to another Middle East theater near you?
The Pentagon has drawn up plans for massive airstrikes against 1,200 targets in Iran, designed to annihilate the Iranians’ military capability in three days, according to a national security expert in Sunday’s edition in the Times of London.

Alexis Debat, director of terrorism and national security at the Nixon Center, said last week that US military planners were not preparing for “pinprick strikes” against Iran’s nuclear facilities. “They’re about taking out the entire Iranian military,” he said.
Debat was speaking at a meeting organized by The National Interest, a conservative foreign policy journal. He told The Sunday Times that the US military had concluded: “Whether you go for pinprick strikes or all-out military action, the reaction from the Iranians will be the same.” It was, he added, a “very legitimate strategic calculus”.
President George Bush intensified the rhetoric against Iran last week, accusing Tehran of putting the Middle East “under the shadow of a nuclear holocaust”. He warned that the US and its allies would confront Iran “before it is too late”.
One Washington source said the “temperature was rising” inside the administration. Bush was “sending a message to a number of audiences”, he said to the Iranians and to members of the United Nations security council who are trying to weaken a tough third resolution on sanctions against Iran for flouting a UN ban on uranium enrichment.
If we take out the Iranian military, does it mean war? If we remove their ability to fight WE WIN. THEY CANNOT FIGHT. NO WAR, really. The leftards must be having epileptic fits on this. Their twisted panties must be choking them.

Kim,
They, the leftards, have their panties in TwistCon 4 right about now. We can take Iran’s military and shred it. However, expect to see the “sectarian” violence increase in Iraq in order to stretch our military even further. Iran will probably do its best to cause as much trouble and conflict on a low scale (bombings and the such), and the MSM will do its best to lament all of the destruction and death, and lay it at the feet of Bush.
And I would like to know if this was a planned leak in order to increase the pressure on Iran or if this is a leak of our national security once again to the enemy…

Let the violence continue in Iraq and elsewhere. Keep it where it belongs. Not on the streets of America. Not in our churches and schools.
I think this is a false propaganda story too- leaked. I note that only FOX News ran it too- I have not seen it anywhere else.

I dont think usa can take out the iranian military that easy. Iran did not have any military after the islamic reveloution and iraq with the help of america giving iraq weopons and also other countries could not envade iran. The iranians are not afraid of dying in the war. The iranian mother is proud of his son has died in the war because they believe that they will go to heavon, but the mother of the american soldier will cry to death.

Steven the US could take out the military of any nation, if we so choose to do so. But we don’t. We are not an uncivilized nation. That is the difference. We cry. They celebrate. We mourn. They martyr off their young. We honor. They blow themselves up. Because of this we SHOULD remove them all from being a threat. These differences could some day be present on the streets of America. We will fight. I like to think we would eliminate the threat beforehand but our Democrat leaders won’t stand for it (they don’t stand up to enemies). We get what we ask for.
