Parents Giving Up Control
Posted by Raven on October 18th, 2007
Ouch.
“If I suck so bad as a parent that my child won’t talk to me about something as important as sex, I think she should talk to some strange adult who will encourage her to have sex. I’m glad that these strangers, who are government employees, and therefore completely trustworthy, but who might be pedophiles, will encourage my daughter to have sex often, perhaps even with them.”
And much, much worse is what’s also implied by this statement:
“In addition, not only do I trust complete stranger adults encouraging MY child to have promiscuous sex at age 11, I DEMAND that every other adult in the state of Maine equally trust random, unknown adults to encourage every one of their children to have open sex at age 11, too.” Mr. Verrier, you are an evil, horrible person. I don’t want ANY 11-year olds having sex, and you are horrible to demand that I allow ALL 11-year old girls to have rampant sex.
So the very few cases where we know a kid cannot or will not talk to their parents about sex means ALL PARENTS have to pay a price here?? We pay for our kids health care; we provide housing and food and clothing and all those other material items. But we have no right to know of school sponsored/provided medications? And birth control pills and patches are medications. It’s not at all right, this policy at the school in Maine. And I find it so hard to believe ANY parent thinks it is.
**UPDATE**
Cotillion sister Darleen has this:
However, in Maine, anyone having sex with someone under the age of 14 is guilty of “gross sexual assault”, punishable by up to 40 years imprisonment.
Nothing in the article indicates Ms. Rowe went to the police when she discovered sexual assault victims.
If this isn’t an indication of the support and encouragement of the sexual exploitation of minors, then what is?
Sweet eh?
Actually no. It’s damn sickening.

But Raven, Governor Lynch and the Democrats in NH have made it clear that if those 11 year olds in Maine get pregnant they can be brought to NH by the adult pervert that raped them where someone who may not even have any medical credentials at all can “destroy the evidence of the crime” while never having to notify anyone at all. Lynch and crew do not even require abortion factories to report how many they perform or what they do with the “unviable tissue mass”.

It’s just mindboggling. School Boards are all over “health” considerations — banning soda, chips, cupcakes — from school EXCEPT when it comes to sex .. which is not healthy physically or mentally for children. That’s not even counting on the harm hormones can/will do to 11-13 y/o girls!
Vouchers, please

That’s not the same Maine I grew up in.
Friggin’ repulsive.
Prescription medication for 11-year-olds with no parental notification required?
Fine. No problem.
A 15-year-old gets caught spreading cream cheese on a bagel with a plastic knife that her mom put in her lunch bag?
Expulsion.
Handcuffs.
Felony weapons charges.
Welcome to the future. Now quit complaining and keep voting Democrat!

When stationed in NATO during the Cold War we R&R’d in Amsterdam and at the Moulin Rouge… and now our children are getting condoms in junior high in the USA? Pass the herpes lip balm and silver bullets, and acne cream. A little note needs to be added to this- I watched on the news last night:
The kids cannot have access to the Health Center without parental consent.
The HC is the where the BC will come from; kids can ask for BC and are not required to tell their folks nor is the school.
Parents DO have a CHOICE here…deny access to the Health Center. I most certainly would.

I wonder, though… If you deny your child access to the Health Center, can they expell said child for possession of an aspirin?
October 19th, 2007 at 6:01 pm
Probably. Sad isn’t it? They’re trying to sexualize our kids by taking away our rights and responsibilities as parents. It’s just fucking sickening. It really is. And, they do this for their own perverted need. THAT I am convinced of.

So public school nurses can’t give your child an aspirin without your permission, but can send any child to an abortion clinic to kill the unborn… without their parents permission? Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5 about our sad times now…..

If any adult gave my child a prescription drug without my approval, they would catch the beating of a lifetime. I’m not kidding, either. It won’t matter if they’re a school nurse or some random healthcare professional, they would catch a beating.
You can call me a neanderthal if you want, but I will allow NO ONE to take control of my child’s healthcare except me, or her mother.
