When I was a little kid I always liked the story of the Three Little Pigs. It was cute and funny and it showed me that DOING THINGS the RIGHT WAY FIRST is always best…and that using the BEST MATERIALS would always pay off.
So what the hell is this shit now?
A children’s story based on the tale of the Three Little Pigs was rejected for an award after judges became concerned that it would offend Muslims, the Times of London reported.
The animated virtual book for primary school children, The Three Little Cowboy Builders, was also criticized for its potential to offend builders.
The row centered on the Bett awards, which were supported by Becta, the Government’s technology agency for schools. The judges’ remarks, reported on the education technology Web site Merlin John Online, included: “Is it true that all builders are cowboys, builders get their work blown down, and builders are like pigs?
“The idea of taking a traditional tale and retelling a story is fine, but it should not alienate parts of the workforce. Judges would not recommend this product to the Muslim community in particular.”
Bite me. I am SO SICK of people worrying about offending the damn Muslims. Tough shit if they’re feelings and pride are hurt. They need to grow some thicker skin and get over themselves. And to those who pander to these feelings and pride: GO FUCK YOURSELVES. You’re creating more problem with this stuff; you’re tearing down bridges by alienating those of us who are not offended and can separate the real issues with the dumb and petty ones.

This is just another example of how political correctness is leading to cultural suicide in Europe and England. By saying that the story of the Three Little Pigs will “offend” Muslims is to imply that our culture is somehow bad and that just leads to the Muslims thinking that their culture is even more superior to ours than they already think. I am tired of people worrying about “offending” others. There is no right to not be offended. Liberals don’t care if I am offended by the assinine policies or promises to tax the fire out of the populace. I am truly offended by those beliefs and am currently waiting for DNC Chair Howard Dean to call me and apologize for offending me..

If we’re expected to accept the culture of Islam than dammit they best be expected to accept ours as well…we shouldn’t hide it!

It’s pretty strange that nobody ever had a problem with that classic story until a couple of dimwit judges decided that it MIGHT be offensive to muslim nutjobs. Idiots. England is going to hell in a hand basket, and the rest of Europe is following their lead.

I had my mouth wide open for quite a while once I realized this wasn’t a story from the Onion. More and more, life is starting to imitate parody. Somehow the old virtue of vigorous debate has been replaced by “don’t offend somebody who might beat you up”.
Guess what, guys, cutting off your balls isn’t going to keep you from getting screwed!

It’s a sad state of affairs isn’t it…Life. If we pander down to everyone who might be, could be or would be offended, we would be silent, blind and deaf people. Robots. No emotions, no feelings, no thoughts. Just those who do as they are told.
Oh wait…that’s what enemies AND Liberals want from mankind.
