I would have preferred a gradual adjustment

What is this?
Barack Obama wants to increase gas prices through a windfall profits tax that consumers will wind up paying and, as it did in the Carter era, decrease supply and increase our dependence on foreign oil.
In his latest gaffe, Obama told CNBC he didn’t really object to $4 gas, just that it occurred too quickly. Obama said: “I think that I would have preferred a gradual adjustment.”
Uh huh? Ok so let’s slowly increase the prices so people don’t notice, Obama? He says this as though it were a planned program or something. And this idiOt has a damn good chance of being our next President.

Grownups have long since lost interest in becoming the president.

The blue state gas station at the airport (55 miles from my house)had cheap gas @ $3.81 a few days ago and it was $4.12 in my neighborhood. Go figure? That’s .31 cents per gallon difference wise! SCREW THE CARIBOU AND DRILL & PAVE THE WHALE!! Obama bin Laden’s buddy John Opee Edwards get’s $499 haircuts, remember? The DSP: Democrat Socialist Party of the poor, eh?

I think we need something more balanced. I don’t believe the hoopla about in country drilling as the save all…but nor is taxing Big Oil the answer either.

This string caught my attention, but still a little surprised there isn’t as many comments as I expected. I’ll keep checking back since this is a hot topic for me personally.
