I see that Lenin’s flyer is an anti-war one. I see “peace” in English, “paz” in Spanish, “mir” in Russian (and Cyrillic letters) and “pokoi”, which is similar to Polish “pokój”. From the beginning, commies have preached “peace”, while rabidly desiring to subjugate you.
Perhaps someday, our descendants will walk through Obama’s tomb and stare in amazement at his mummified body. (Gag!)

I have some experience in matters of visual communication, brand image, etc. and I cannot overemphasize how deliberate this is on the part of the Obama campaign.
No way they don’t know what they’re evoking here, no way it’s just some rogue out-of-touch elitists in the design dept. saying “hey that looks cool.” Many people – campaign officials, lawyers – review and approve such things before they’re released. It’s creepy that this is what Obama’s chosen and even creepier that Obama’s sycophantic supporters respond to it.
Obama isn’t Lenin of course (or Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Kim, Mao) but he has clearly borrowed some pages from their propaganda books. He’s already redesigned a general national symbol (the Presidential seal) to make it about himself instead of the office it represents; the rest of his imagery is similarly self-centric.
Excellent find on the Lenin poster, Raven. Obama’s campaign may not be aware of this specific image but the stylistic parallels are undeniable.

And I have referred to Obama as the Messiah several times, mostly tongue-in-cheek, because he has been treated in such a manner by so many in the left, who themselves have little use for religion, unless it has to do with the Religion of Al Gore and Co., etc. etc. I didn’t now that the word messiah was necessarily always tied to Jesus Christ, and therefore I would be “f-ck”‘ing with the name of our Lord by using it in such a way. Interesting.

Ofcourse, Tennyson did not claim that Obama was Lenin. In fact he said that Obama was not Lenin. But Tennyson did say that the “stylistic parallels are undeniable”. I’d have to agree. And those posters do not make Obama a communist.
No, his political views, and those shared by an increasing number of Democrats, have more in common with Lenin and less with Jefferson, Washington, Madison, and Adams.

I thought the GOP wasn’t yet in full panic mode but if comparing Obama posters to Lenin poster is where you are with 100 days left to the election you are well within your rights to push that panic button. I expect full out no code word racial slurs against the Illinois Senator to begin in the next two weeks. All of this reminds me of a story I was told by a colleague this weekend:
The way I see it there were two boxes the McCain campaign was sent by the RNC in the thick of the primary race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. One box was labeled “open immediately after Hillary wins the nomination” the other “open immediately after Barack Obama wins the nomination.”
In the HRC box were DVDs of hours of Bill and Monica innuendos, sound bites from Kathleen Willey, Vince Foster’s home movies and a cube of index cards detailing what the 527s would do to beat the Clintons by painting Hillary as being another unacceptable liberal administration that would be doing something immoral while the country was going to Hell. I guess images of Huma Abedin would be in there too.
The Obama box is the same size but much lighter. Inside is a blister pack with one pill in it and it is labeled simply, “Cyanide.” The instructions read, “Bite down hard and swallow. Regards, George W Bush.”

The funny thing about the “new left” is that they REALLY do believe that they are the true progressives – and that they are the one’s discovering socialism/communism/communitarianism(and, of course, fascism) for the first time; and that they can make it work. Isn’t one of the signs of insanity doing the same wrong thing over and over and expecting different results? It seems that that is what our “progressive” friends keep on doing.
And I believe that the parallels between the communist posters and those of the obamassiah campaign are by no means accidental. They do, however, exhibit arrogance toward and great disdain for the American people. But hussein’s supporters don’t seem to be smart enough to catch on to that.

Ravenous- you’ve posted my name. How 1984 of you! I wonder how many of your psychotic readers are looking me up and figuring out if they can afford the gas and tolls to come kill me! Not only could we afford the tolls or airfare to come after you bur we could just pay someone else to do it for us, maybe an illegal. But the fact of the matter is, the left wing moonbats are the ones who make the threats and try to intimidate (see Obambi and what was that college professor’s name). To us you are not worth the time or effort it would take to come get you and you are certainly not worth the cost of the ammo. We believe that you have a right to life and that we should not take that away. What do you think we are, pro abortion or something?
Though I have to admit, people like you help me to understand why some animals eat their young and to understand that maybe your mother should have aborted. If your mommy was doing a Lewinsky that night instead, we would all be better off.

A hater? I told you, I hate lots of things. I hate people, if you want to know the truth (I like individuals, I hate people).
I hate illegals, I hate terrorists, I hate (most) liberals, I hate spinach, I hate people who cannot drive and I hate it when people in the service industry do not know WTF they are doing.

I, for one, plan to disrespect him every chance I get. I plan to look for ways to undermine his gravitas, demean his stature, corrupt his efforts, and in general throw shit on his image, his administration and everything he stands for.

I thought “PEACE” was the lingo meaning “I’m outta here.” Why does Bunny keep saying it over and over? He’s a raving lunatic who keeps saying “PEACE” I guess because he was told he’d be banned if he kept calling people “my bitches.” :roll: I don’t know what kind of grown man calls himself Bunny. Unless it’s a strange woman who chooses to speak like a homothug? It’s just too much for me to comprehend how these Obama supporters can shave without slitting their own throats with as much evident hatred they seem to have for themselves and the rest of the world let alone function outside of whatever mental institution they escaped from.

I would really love to see some statistics taken and posted and I’d be willing to bet that I’m close:
100,000 Obama supporters surveyed:
1. 89% of those respondents have some sort of body painting (tattoos). Of those, 37% are spelled correctly and 42% have grown too fat to even identify what the original tattoo was in the first place.
2. 73% of those respondents have some sort of body piercing other than ears to include, but not limited to, eyebrows, nose, lips, nipples, vagina and/or penis and/or both. And of those that do have ears pierced, 12% have done so in a manner so as to look like a jungle bunny (and I’m not talking about any racial epitaph, so get over it already).
3. 97% of those respondents have blue collar jobs. The remaining 3% have advanced college degrees and teach at colleges and universities and have never worked a day in their life in a real job.
4. 7% of those respondents could name five White House cabinet members. 17% could name two, 39% could name three, 71% could name four, 88% could name five, 11% could “what’s a cabinet member”?
5. 65% couldn’t pass a random drug test administered today. 53% couldn’t pass a drug test with two week’s notice, 38% couldn’t pass a drug test with a month’s notice. And 21% couldn’t pass a drug test no matter when it was administered.
Really, I could care less if they do these things. It’s none of my business, it’s their life, and if they can afford it, more power to them.
But here’s the real catcher. They can afford a tattoo, but they cannot afford health insurance. They can afford the body piercing, but they can’t afford to put food on the table. They can’t give you the correct change at the cash register or give you the right order at the drive-thru, but they can better manage the business. They can’t afford to buy automobile insurance, but they can afford the dope, the alcohol, and the bleem-bleems.
That’s the liberal mindset in a nutshell: No accountability and responsibility entitlement. And not only do they expect you to subsidize their life style; they want the government to mandate it. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is precisely what the liberal agenda is all about.
Here’s idea for ya. You want all these great wonderful material possessions we have? Do like the rest of us. EARN IT!

I have to defend SOME of us blue collar workers though. I am one of them.
I cannot stand it when my fellow low lifers (lol) use their position in the world to further their personal agenda as in: forcing me to join unions at my workplace; where said union defends those who are always late, who always call out, who are forever lazy and inept; who take advantage of breaks and who refuse to work as a team. Who therefore put my patients in jeopardy. Who don’t care about patients, but only themselves…yet dare to use patient safety as a reason for the need of a union. Who would walk off the job over petty nuisances.
I resent my fellow liberal co workers who demand special treatment because they are, a woman, or are black, or have some medical condition that NO ONE WOULD even know about if it weren’t broadcasted and used as an excuse for their poor work ethic.
Oh I could go on and on but I shall shaddup.

And Raven, you do know you are the exception, as there almost always is, to the rule. But being “forced” to join the union is, in my humble opinion, theft by “PICK A TERM (deception, taking, extortion, et al)”. I realize you have to do what you have to do to make a living. But you’re not the person I’m talking about, and for you, I’d say any involvement and/or employment in the Union will be a short lived experience. Why? Because people like you don’t make a career out of a union job. One day however, you will have union employees that report to you.
I really like blue collar people like you because I can always have faith that, one day, they’ll make something of themselves, and instead of expecting somebody to give them a free ride, they’ll make their own economic transportaion available.

I made a choice, yrs ago, to work in nursing as the lowly nursing assistant- for a reason. I could have chosen any career I wanted in medicine. But, working in this role is important and it keeps me humble and honest. By moving upward, people tend to lose their humbleness, their honesty and their integrity. I prefer to be a grunt and do the hard work in order to see real the real fruits of my labor. I’m not rich at all…in fact I am what almost all consider poor. My pay sucks. The hours I work suck. The job is brutal. I work with a lot of idiOts. But I do it because it’s worth it, to me. And worth it to humanity.
Also, at my specific work we have no union. But I have worked for unionized nursing facilities and it really is bad. The petty shit takes priority over patient care; battles over 10 cents an hour cause nurses and aides to strike; it’s not in the patients’ best interest.

Nonetheless, you have the right mindset. Money isn’t everything. You’re a very unique person. You’re right about moving up and I hope you never loose that. But honor and integrity doesn’t have a price tag. Two of the smartest men I’ve ever had the priveledge to know were both physically back breaking hard working men. It wasn’t their knowledge that was so impressive ~ they weren’t educated. It was their wisdom, and they had a way of turning any given situation into an educational experience. I didn’t know it then, but deja vu has an extraordinary way of reminding you of it every now and then.
