    I see that Lenin’s flyer is an anti-war one. I see “peace” in English, “paz” in Spanish, “mir” in Russian (and Cyrillic letters) and “pokoi”, which is similar to Polish “pokój”. From the beginning, commies have preached “peace”, while rabidly desiring to subjugate you.

    Perhaps someday, our descendants will walk through Obama’s tomb and stare in amazement at his mummified body. (Gag!)

    I have some experience in matters of visual communication, brand image, etc. and I cannot overemphasize how deliberate this is on the part of the Obama campaign.

    No way they don’t know what they’re evoking here, no way it’s just some rogue out-of-touch elitists in the design dept. saying “hey that looks cool.” Many people - campaign officials, lawyers - review and approve such things before they’re released. It’s creepy that this is what Obama’s chosen and even creepier that Obama’s sycophantic supporters respond to it.

    Obama isn’t Lenin of course (or Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Kim, Mao) but he has clearly borrowed some pages from their propaganda books. He’s already redesigned a general national symbol (the Presidential seal) to make it about himself instead of the office it represents; the rest of his imagery is similarly self-centric.

    Excellent find on the Lenin poster, Raven. Obama’s campaign may not be aware of this specific image but the stylistic parallels are undeniable.

    I am a Christian. And I have referred to Obama as the Messiah several times, mostly tongue-in-cheek, because he has been treated in such a manner by so many in the left, who themselves have little use for religion, unless it has to do with the Religion of Al Gore and Co., etc. etc. I didn’t now that the word messiah was necessarily always tied to Jesus Christ, and therefore I would be “f-ck”‘ing with the name of our Lord by using it in such a way. Interesting.

    No, his political views, and those shared by an increasing number of Democrats, have more in common with Lenin and less with Jefferson, Washington, Madison, and Adams.

I expect full out no code word racial slurs against the Illinois Senator to begin in the next two weeks. All of this reminds me of a story I was told by a colleague this weekend:

    The way I see it there were two boxes the McCain campaign was sent by the RNC in the thick of the primary race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. One box was labeled “open immediately after Hillary wins the nomination” the other “open immediately after Barack Obama wins the nomination.”

    In the HRC box were DVDs of hours of Bill and Monica innuendos, sound bites from Kathleen Willey, Vince Foster’s home movies and a cube of index cards detailing what the 527s would do to beat the Clintons by painting Hillary as being another unacceptable liberal administration that would be doing something immoral while the country was going to Hell. I guess images of Huma Abedin would be in there too.

    The Obama box is the same size but much lighter. Inside is a blister pack with one pill in it and it is labeled simply, “Cyanide.” The instructions read, “Bite down hard and swallow. Regards, George W Bush.”

    The funny thing about the “new left” is that they REALLY do believe that they are the true progressives - and that they are the one’s discovering socialism/communism/communitarianism(and, of course, fascism) for the first time; and that they can make it work. Isn’t one of the signs of insanity doing the same wrong thing over and over and expecting different results? It seems that that is what our “progressive” friends keep on doing.

    For the record, I was respectful of the office of the presidency when Clinton was in office. If Obama makes it in I believe I will take a page out of the idiot left’s playbook and call the Chimpy Obama HusseinHitler.
