Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.

I made a choice, yrs ago, to work in nursing as the lowly nursing assistant- for a reason. I could have chosen any career I wanted in medicine. But, working in this role is important and it keeps me humble and honest. By moving upward, people tend to lose their humbleness, their honesty and their integrity. I prefer to be a grunt and do the hard work in order to see real the real fruits of my labor. I’m not rich at all…in fact I am what almost all consider poor. My pay sucks. The hours I work suck. The job is brutal. I work with a lot of idiOts. But I do it because it’s worth it, to me. And worth it to humanity.

Also, at my specific work we have no union. But I have worked for unionized nursing facilities and it really is bad. The petty shit takes priority over patient care; battles over 10 cents an hour cause nurses and aides to strike; it’s not in the patients’ best interest.

I really like blue collar people like you because I can always have faith that, one day, they’ll make something of themselves, and instead of expecting somebody to give them a free ride, they’ll make their own economic transportaion available.

I have to defend SOME of us blue collar workers though. I am one of them.

I cannot stand it when my fellow low lifers (lol) use their position in the world to further their personal agenda as in: forcing me to join unions at my workplace; where said union defends those who are always late, who always call out, who are forever lazy and inept; who take advantage of breaks and who refuse to work as a team. Who therefore put my patients in jeopardy. Who don’t care about patients, but only themselves…yet dare to use patient safety as a reason for the need of a union. Who would walk off the job over petty nuisances.

I resent my fellow liberal co workers who demand special treatment because they are, a woman, or are black, or have some medical condition that NO ONE WOULD even know about if it weren’t broadcasted and used as an excuse for their poor work ethic.

Oh I could go on and on but I shall shaddup.

100,000 Obama supporters surveyed:

1. 89% of those respondents have some sort of body painting (tattoos). Of those, 37% are spelled correctly and 42% have grown too fat to even identify what the original tattoo was in the first place.

2. 73% of those respondents have some sort of body piercing other than ears to include, but not limited to, eyebrows, nose, lips, nipples, vagina and/or penis and/or both. And of those that do have ears pierced, 12% have done so in a manner so as to look like a jungle bunny (and I’m not talking about any racial epitaph, so get over it already).

3. 97% of those respondents have blue collar jobs. The remaining 3% have advanced college degrees and teach at colleges and universities and have never worked a day in their life in a real job.

4. 7% of those respondents could name five White House cabinet members. 17% could name two, 39% could name three, 71% could name four, 88% could name five, 11% could “what’s a cabinet member”?

5. 65% couldn’t pass a random drug test administered today. 53% couldn’t pass a drug test with two week’s notice, 38% couldn’t pass a drug test with a month’s notice. And 21% couldn’t pass a drug test no matter when it was administered.

Really, I could care less if they do these things. It’s none of my business, it’s their life, and if they can afford it, more power to them.

But here’s the real catcher. They can afford a tattoo, but they cannot afford health insurance. They can afford the body piercing, but they can’t afford to put food on the table. They can’t give you the correct change at the cash register or give you the right order at the drive-thru, but they can better manage the business. They can’t afford to buy automobile insurance, but they can afford the dope, the alcohol, and the bleem-bleems.

That’s the liberal mindset in a nutshell: No accountability and responsibility entitlement. And not only do they expect you to subsidize their life style; they want the government to mandate it. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is precisely what the liberal agenda is all about.

Here’s idea for ya. You want all these great wonderful material possessions we have? Do like the rest of us. EARN IT!
