He has a post that talks about the surge and how its working.. or in his estimation, its not working. He can't let it go that we've (us and our Iraqi counterparts) all but vanquished Al Qaeda there. It blows his little mind... and his world-view. So he bitterly clings (to use Obama's words) to his mantra that "Iraq is lost. We've failed. Blah. Blah. Blah". Using his logic, every city in America that suffers a high homicide rate, as well as rape and assault, should immediately be abandoned by the police forces as well as federal agencies.
