Lets Call A Spade A Spade And Be Done With It!

I’m going to call this my latest post, on this subject at least. First, thank you Raven for giving me a place to post and good friends and collegues to post with. Secondly, thank you Obama for all the gifts you have given to right-leaning bloggers, conservative bloggers, pro-American bloggers and bloggers that love our country. And if you think that this means that the Obamabots don’t love this country, you are correct. They love what they think this country could be with a socialist, left-winger, Democrat at the helm tossing out all that has made this country what it is. That is not to say that we don’t have faults, because obviously we do, but…… there is a world of difference between all of the other countries in the world, and the United States of America. We are indeed the exception in a world of tyranny, hate, confiscation and loss of liberty. We are the exception when it comes to human rights; for we hold dearer those rights than any other country in the world. If that makes for American Exceptionalism, so be it.
And please, don’t start with we had slavery, we stole the land from the Indians, we did this nasty thing or other. Of course we did and so did every other country on earth. But that wasn’t done by this generation. This generation didn’t hold slaves, this generation didn’t steal the land, but we have made a land where you can practice freedom of thought, of religion, of speech and association and when those liberties are challenged we tend to fight back.
The Obamabots are screaming that a few folk at McCain*Palin rallies get on their high horse and say things that possibly they wouldn’t say in polite company. Have you visited Huffpost or Kos or MyDD or other left leaning sites recently. Have you seen right-wing attacks on blogs and radio shows, have you seen the vituperation that the left regularly practices on the right? No, you haven’t except in limited amounts on some sites. But the Obamabots and the Obama Campaign with its negative picture of America? With Michele Obama telling us that Barry H. Obama is going to take away our cynicism? Like hell he will!!!
John Kass writing in the Chicago Tribune (and if John Kass doesn’t know Chicago – no one does) made this comment in a recent entry:
Turn on the TV news when John McCain is picking up undecided voters by invoking Barack Obama’s relationship with unrepentant American terrorist William Ayers and, invariably, some liberal talking head will sniff in disgust and say Ayers is no big deal where Obama comes from.
And the boss of Chicago is Mayor Richard Daley. Mayor Shortshanks has thrown his protective embrace around both men. These are facts.
Obama and Ayers are neighbors and they worked together on school issues with the same foundation. Obama’s political coming-out party was held in Ayers’ living room when Obama was running for his first political office.
Unfortunately, that’s true. Ayers is a terrorist. But this is Chicago.
Let me repeat: “These are facts.” and try as they might, the Obamabots cannot erase those facts. It is also a fact that Obama has a great deal of energy put into keeping his background secret and away from prying eyes and it is a fact that the main stream media has been of immense help to him in doing so. It is a Fact that he has less “executive experience” running for the top political position in America than Sarah Palin does in her run for the VICE Presidency. It is a fact that Mr. Obama’s last 20+ years has been spent cultivating the far left socialist wing of the Democratic party. It is a Fact that Mr. Obama said:
“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” “That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,” he added.
I don’t expect other countries to say “OK” I expect other countries to do the same thing we did and get up off of their asses and take their countries back from the oligarchs and the professional politico-classes. To establish the freedoms that we have, to reward hard work and innovation and to protect ownership of private property.
I do not expect the Obamabots to get it. I do not expect the Obamabots to cease their ugly snapping, in fact, I expect it to get worse in the next three weeks.
And yeah, I plan to be here and speak up until the bastards sew my lips shut in the morgue. Count on it!
And that’s the way I see it on this side of the Pecos River!

Yeah, we had slavery. Until 154 years ago, but what about the countries that still do? Oh, I forgot, they aren’t “Christian” nations, so that’s ok, even now.
And our record with Native Americans is not the best, to be sure, but their’s with us was not pristine, either, and they (as a whole) were not the “noble savages” the media would have us think.
And yes, we have made some terrible blunders as a nation.
Yet people from every nation want to come and live here as citizens, some willing to die trying. I wonder why?
