		<description>Yeah, we had slavery.  Until 154 years ago, but what about the countries that still do?  Oh, I forgot, they aren&#039;t &quot;Christian&quot; nations, so that&#039;s ok, even now.

And our record with Native Americans is not the best, to be sure, but their&#039;s with us was not pristine, either, and they (as a whole) were not the &quot;noble savages&quot; the media would have us think.

And yes, we have made some terrible blunders as a nation.

Yet people from every nation want to come and live here as citizens, some willing to die trying.  I wonder why?</description>
