My little girl, who is 4, has apparently listening to Mommy and Daddy talk. She just said, “John McCain has to win. Obama is going to change and we can’t have the change.” From the mouths of babes….

EECK. I recall posting a Nazi image of Obama a few months back, and it not being too popular. I think now, I can say it was more telling than we liked to have thought back then.
I AM SICK over this. If he wins, there will be no unity on my part.

Yeah, I remember the Nazi picture, and it wasn’t popular, even with me to be honest. However, I think the similarities, for me anyway, have been more about the cult of personality that surrounds men who eventually, though not always, start to consolidate power in their hands. And Barack’s lamentations over how the Constitution ties his hands don’t give me much comfort…..

That’s right: it’s not so much that we’re going to see a mirror repeat of the Third Reich or the Soviet Union.
Rather, as was the point of the Glenn Beck video I posted last month, totalitarian regimes always come to power under a charismatic leader who builds a Cult of Personality to intimidate and/or terrorize elected officials and the populace to allow him to gain dictatorial powers.
And it is the Cult of Personality that Obama has consciously cultivated, as in his acceptance speech, in 10/29 prime time broadcast, and in his election headquarter tonight – that Cult coupled with his continued tactics to intimidate or quash dissent, or even tough questioning, that makes these posters apropos.
