Barry Unleashed: The First Gaffe
Posted by Raven on November 8th, 2008
I bet Barry misses his trusty teleprompter. Either he misses it or his aides do.
At his first Press Conference, while discussing issues of national importance such as his mutt’s new housing arrangement and his kids’ private schooling, Barry bashed a former President in a real bizarre manner.
CHICAGO — President-elect Barack Obama made one notable slip during his first post-election news conference: his crack about the ailing Nancy Reagan’s reported consultations with an astrologer. He quickly sought to remedy it.
“In terms of speaking to former presidents, I’ve spoken to all of them that are living,” Obama had said in answer to a question. “Obviously, President Clinton — I didn’t want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any seances.”
Classy guy eh? He did call Mrs. Reagan to apologize.
Trouble is, he SAID it. With a big smile on his face. He owns it. Apology and all, this shows us a glimpse of what’s to come. A classless, thoughtless thug with a big ego who believes his shit don’t stink. The elitism is thick in the air folks.

Oops. Makes you wonder how deep his anti-Reagan hatred lives when a man about to assume the Presidency has it on his mind….
Gaffetastic!

I think Teh One may be mixed up about some First Ladies. I don’t recall any seances by Nancy Reagan, but instead, astrology readings, to help decide the timing of her husband’s actions. On the other hand, I remember Hillary Clinton having seances allegedly contacting Eleanor Roosevelt. Of course, she could never match her husband’s photographed handshake with JFK.

Well he could have done this with Hillary. It’d made them both look petty and crude. Oh wait, they are just that.
Change we can believe in.
