No More “Cold Hard Cash” In Congress
Posted by Bigfoot on December 7th, 2008
Don’t get me wrong. Our Congress-critters will still be awash in money from campaign contributors. But there is one type of “cold hard cash” that will not be around when the 111th Congress is seated this coming January. Louisiana Democrat William “Cold Hard Cash” Jefferson, who gave the term new meaning when he was caught with $90,000 in his home freezer, has lost his seat to Republican challenger Anh “Joseph” Cao, the first Vietnamese American ever elected to Congress. The election was delayed because of Hurricane Gustav.

GOOD! It’s time to eliminate ALL these cash thieves from Congress- no matter what political party they belong to. My thought is- do the people who vote these thugs into office really wish to rid their localities of the “rewards” of such representation? Ear marks are what keep people like Murtha in office.

Raven, it’s never the thief you elect, it’s always the thief your neighbor elects that is evil. Hence, we will always be stuck with the Murthas, Kennedys, Kerrys, Cunninghams, Jefferson and, yes, Obamas.
