To all my fellow musicians out there, have a happy Beethoven’s Birthday.

Here’s one of my favorite Beethoven pieces, from A Boy Named Charlie Brown, Sonata #8, 2nd movement.

    I think ‘Fur Elise” (which Schroeder plays in ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas”) is the saddest piece of classicla music in the world. A deaf father trying to remember what his little girl sounded like and putting it to music.

    Makes me cry. A LOT.
