Barack Obama’s pick for CIA director is reported to be Leon Panetta, former Congressman and White House Chief of Staff under Bill Clinton. In other words, another Clinton crony. Not only that, but Panetta at one time worked for the Nixon administration.
Shortly after, he agreed to serve under Nixon’s HEW secretary, Robert Finch, as special assistant for civil rights. Several months after that appointment Finch promoted Panetta to director of the Office of Civil Rights.
In fairness, Panetta wanted to enforce our civil rights laws more thoroughly than Nixon would let him, so he resigned. But even so, tapping someone who worked for both Tricky Dick and Slick Willie (or as I call him, Mr. Bill) is quite a “two-for”.

Duncan, get ready for Pinetta’s supporters saying the same thing about George Bush (the Elder) when he took the DCI job, and trying to use him as an excuse. :roll:
