Plain and simple. There is a reason why no one trusts the media any more to be objective. Completely worthless as anything put party propaganda mouthpieces that filter the news as they see fit. For instance, this in the story about Capt. Sullenberger, his saving of the U.S. Airways flight, and his first T.V. interview: <blockquote>When a reporter approached him for comment, one of the officials responded: "No chance." NBC said "Today" show host Matt Lauer would interview Sullenberger from Washington on Monday, <strong>a day before President-elect Barack Obama is inaugurated</strong>.</blockquote> Just in case you DIDN'T know that Barack Obama was being inaugurated on Tuesday, the day after Monday. My wife read this, being a journalism major in college, and thought it was perhaps the most random statement that had nothing to do with the story it was included in. And I have to agree with her. Unless ofcourse you are completely and utterly OBSESSED WITH OBAMA, as the Associate Press is... I'm going to include this in a short post... Pure, political hack journalism. Plain and simple.
