Obama’s Approval Ratings Going Down

Posted by Raven on January 25th, 2009

Obama’s approval ratings are going down. Does this surprise anyone? After all, he promised the sun, moon, stars and just about everything else.

The Gallup Poll on Saturday released the first job-approval rating for President Obama, based on interviews during his first three full days in office: 68 percent.

Now that he’s in office, Obama’s approval ratings are starting to normalize, as partisan back-and-forth picks up. Just a week ago, Gallup found an astonishing 83 percent approval of how he has handled his transition, showing he had even won over most Republicans.

These are good numbers. But they are going down. I will give him the credit he deserves- he’s working hard to please the liberals by pretending to dismantle the security apparatuses put into place by President Bush. It all looks good, so people who voted for Change think they’re getting it.

It feels good to know we on the right are still the grown ups of the country; that we have the brains and ability to see past the glowing halo and elegant voice of Hope…for what it all really is. A big farce.

That silly cartoon character misses the point. Now that Teh One is in office, the global warming climate change wrought by all those Bush-era greenhouse gases is being reversed, and temperatures are declining. Which means that it’s supposed to be cold.

Your understanding of time-varying statistics is amazing. The dude hasn’t even been prez for a week and you’re already cream’n your panties dreaming about how you might be right and America might be wrong.

No Wane…I’m just pointing out facts. Something liberals cannot comprehend. Obama is doing NOTHING different than Bush did when it comes to interrogation policy; liberals everywhere are sighing a collective sound of relief; “NO MORE TORTURE!!” and the media is gloating over how quickly Barry “changed” Bush’s policy. BUT HE DID NOT. Up my way, there are more than a few handfuls of folks who are VERY ANGRY at the man they just voted into office. WHY? Cause they see him as the farce he actually is.

Approval ratings and time variances? We’ll be keeping track.

I’m glad you thought gitmo was going to be shut down in 5 days. If you thought Obama could do that, just imaging what he could do in 10 days! *gasp* : ) You and the “few handfuls of folks” you talk about might want to pick up a day planer becasue your concept of 24 hours is totally different then everyone else’s.

Wane, it is okay dude. I’m sure your Messiah™ will continue to disappoint. Feel free to come here and vent to us every time he breaks a campaign promise to you… it’ll be okay…
